The Cry of My Heart. Friday, September 30, 2011. Well I guess its finally fall. Tonight I noticed that our nights have officially started cooling off. Its funny because we are coming out of the hottest couple of months that I can ever remember having, and yet. it wasnt that bad. :). I havent blogged since April. WOW! I am so bad at this! I guess I could spend a while reflecting on all that has taken place since then. but I really dont feel like it. I will just start with the NOW! I love watching her grow!

The Cry of My Heart. Monday, June 14, 2010. So I am stealing this idea from Denise but I LOVED it! What you do is make a list of 101 things you want to accomplish in 1001 days. Well, the first thing I had to do was figure out how long that is! So apparently that is 2 yrs and 271 days; which puts the finishing date (starting tom) at March 12 th. Which seems like a long time but really not that long at all! 1 Clean out Summer's room. 2 Paint her room. 3 Have EVERYTHING finished by the time she comes home.

Monday, June 28, 2010. Justin and Lisa Holcomb. This year we took our youth group to Myrtle Beach, SC for our beach week! We dropped the girls off at Justin's parents and Justin and I headed up a little early to enjoy a day at the beach ourselves and get all set up for the students to arrive. It rained the whole time we had before students, which was God's way of telling us to rest, I guess. Oh well! This was a huge defining moment in the life of our youth group! We had great weather and great fun!
