I know a lot of you have been dying to hear how the meeting with the donor family went. Aaron and I had a lot to take in and needed time to do so. So we appreciate your patience in waiting to hear how it went. When we left we shared hugs and said how nice it was to have met each other. We both left knowing we each had a lot to think, pray, and discuss about.

Tuesday, June 16, 2015. In 6 days, Charlotte and Elizabeth will be 6 months old. Time sure flies! And with this milestone comes an accomplishment only attainable by the grace of God - 6 months of breastfeeding twins! If you know how much I struggled with supply for just Leland. You know how huge this is. I don't post much about breastfeeding this time around mostly because I don't allow myself to give it much thought. Tuesday, December 23, 2014. They were born around 10:30pm Monday by c section. They are in the NICU on a cpap. Their initial platelet counts are great! Apply with NEDC (application packet received and sent by snail mail). Both of us have bloodwork for STDs and blood type; results sent to NEDC. Attend mock transfer appointment in Knoxville at NEDC (see mock transfer medication protocol). Order medication for transfer via mail order pharmacy. Decide on openness criteria and send packet to NEDC.
