Everything Erin: May 2008
http://everything-eb.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
A peek inside my random thoughts, projects, ideas etc. Saturday, May 31, 2008. Well, I've signed up to sew my most ambitious project to date - a winter coat. I've wanted to sew a coat for a while, I've had some fabric for over a year now and the pattern too, I just haven't gotten up the nerve to start it out. Then I read on Marji's blog. I will be sewing Simplicity 4403, view A (the one on the far right). Now, I just need to pick up my other items, lining, buttons etc. I'll keep you updated!

Everything Erin: Day 5: Versailles
http://everything-eb.blogspot.com/2008/11/day-5-versailles.html
A peek inside my random thoughts, projects, ideas etc. Sunday, November 09, 2008. Moving right along with our Paris trip. On our 5th day we took a trip out to visit Versailles, which was a 30 minute train ride outside of the city. The palace was immense and a bit overwheliming with all the ornateness. My favorite part was the grounds, which seemed to go on as far as the eye could see. Inside the palace, we toured the private apartments of the king and queen. It seemed like the beds were so small!

Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Belated First Day of School. Sorry about not getting pictures up earlier of Kayden's first day of school. I didn't think that once a kiddo started school life would be even MORE hectic than it already was. Now I know! Kayden goes to school from 12:40pm to 3:15pm Monday thru Thursday. Honestly, this is a REALLY inconvenient time for us! Sunday, June 7, 2009. Here's something just for the princess! I am so pleased with this nightgown! Here's something just for me! October 13, 2011} Checking in. I just haven’t felt like blogging – or sewing – lately. I’ve started an accessory business called Orange Blossom Accessories, which has been taking all my free time. The website will be up soon. I’m doing mostly hair bows to start with. But there will be a lot of sewing on the horizon. I’m very happy to announce that I am getting married late next year! Craftycitizen @ 12:05 am [filed under Business. Best of luck to you both. October 13, 2011 at 12:15 pm. Sew Much Fabric, S...

Kwik Sew 3136 | Subversive Sewer
https://subversivesewer.wordpress.com/2011/08/16/kwik-sew-3136
August 16, 2011} Kwik Sew 3136. I was browsing the Kwik Sew catalog the other day and came across this jean jacket pattern. I don’t know why, but I suddenly had this urge to make one. Forget making me one since my fit issues would render it unwearable. But I’ve got 3 girls who can get plenty of wear out of one, especially since it’s a classic style. But wouldn’t you know, my local Hancock Fabrics was out of stock. So, I ended up ordering it from fabric.com. You did a fabulous job on that jacket! Notify m...

November 2014 | Perfect Pattern Parcel
http://perfectpatternparcel.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Never miss a Parcel. Handbag Hardware and Interfacing. Something about handbag hardware seems intimidating to sewists. Which is silly. Sure, they're metal, and heavy, and much more solid than fabric and thread, but including the hardware on your bag makes it look so much more professional and polished. Plus, using hardware is not as scary as you think. Below is a list of hardware used for all the bag patterns in Pattern Parcel #7. I usually buy hardware in bulk from shops on Etsy ( here. And then there a...
