The verdict is in: I'm going to live! I finally got the MRI and MRA. Report (brain scan) and I do, in fact, have a brain. I guess the problem is that I'm not using it to my best advantage, lol. Well, What Can I Say? There are other issues keeping us in Las Vegas right now too. Last week Paul had a treadmill stress test. The primary care doctor said yesterday that she got the copy of the test report and there is a problem I guess Paul heard her say he'd need an angiogram to decide the next step. He's not thrilled about finding a problem but willing to explore the issue and possible help. Saddness Mixed with Reunion. Well, by Monday my headache wasn't any better. So, off to the emergency room I go! We spent 6 hours having CT scan, Chest X-ray, Blood Work, and finally a Spinal Tap. I really liked the doctor in the ER he was friendly, thorough and quick. He said there was nothing in the spinal fluid, it was crystal clear. He pronounced me very healthy and gave me pills for migraine headache and referred me to an neurologist. I'm VERY hopeful that we can come home soon. We need to tie up a few loose ends and find a ...

Paul and I made it home yesterday evening. It took us a week and a half but we made it. We visited Chris in San Clemente, Sara from Huntington Beach, Candy in Elk Grove, Kimberly, Julie, Kelsey and Dad in Paradise, Bobby from Brookings and Kristi in Portland. Thursday, August 13, 2009. Today I took Preston and the 3 girls I watch up Payson Canyon to the trail called the Grotto. It is an easy 1/4 mile hike to a beautiful waterfall. We hung out there and had lunch. Most of them loved to play in the ice cold water. Such a great time! Labels: hiking summer fun. Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Bike Rides - Monday. So Monday I took Preston and the 3 girls I watch on a couple of bike rides. We went in the morning to main street and got ice cream at the local drug store.

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Camping over Memorial Day. We went camping over Memorial Day weekend and we had a good time. The best part was there was a little ravine right behind out campsite. There was an actual vine hanging from a tree and you could swing from it. Mind you, this is not a rope. It is a vine. I thought it was pretty cool and we all had to take a turn on it.
