Eat Sleep. Run. Blog about it. My last couple of runs have been fine. Did 15 minutes straight yesterday in the KSO's, and felt good today. Speedy Ima: My baby ate my homework

http://speedyima.blogspot.com/2006/11/my-baby-ate-my-homework.html

Eat Sleep. Run. Blog about it. My baby ate my homework. Ok, he didn't really. Yet. But as I sat cutting out dozens of little chiclet-sized squares of double-sided mounting tape with which to adhere all the tiny pieces of my first model for class, even I was tempted to sample. Mmm.chewy. I was reading the 12-15 mos section of Brazelton's. We joke about how much babies at the breast look like drug addicts - their little eyes rolling back in their heads with pleasure, and then, "Oh, oh, I need another hit!

Speedy Ima: Jones Farm

http://speedyima.blogspot.com/2007/09/jones-farm.html

Eat Sleep. Run. Blog about it. One of the things I most enjoy about my work is the chance to speak with people about things that really matter to them. Whenever you speak to someone about their landscape, the place where they live, you get into what's most important to them - solitude, play, gathering, health, productivity. Today, while looking for a nearby place to dispose of soil and sod for an installation we're doing in Chelmsford, I happened on. And had one of. Because he was "tired of getting lied ...

Speedy Ima: B.O.B.

http://speedyima.blogspot.com/2006/05/bob.html

Eat Sleep. Run. Blog about it. I haven't posted since going back to work full-time. No big surprise - it's the time of year when all landscapers' spouses threaten divorce, because we're only home to sleep and maybe eat. (Only if we're nursing, it's to eat, and maybe sleep. And sweetie, could you bring me a big glass of water, please? I still have plantar fasciitis. And, like a dummy, I'm still running. Not too much mileage, but at minimum a few miles every weekend. Speedy Ima: Baby Socks: Tools of the Devil

http://speedyima.blogspot.com/2006/10/baby-socks-tools-of-devil.html

Eat Sleep. Run. Blog about it. Baby Socks: Tools of the Devil. My wonderful ex taught me a few life-simplifying tricks, like how to pack for a two-week trip using a small backpack. On his shelves, he had two stacks of t-shirts: white and black; 2 stacks of socks: white and black; 1 stack of undies: white (and a random pair of smiley-face boxers). I think he's branched out on the undies, but that's not the point. The point is, he's going to have a hard time with parenthood, because of the baby socks!

The Long Cold Run: Back to Training

http://longcoldrun.blogspot.com/2006/06/back-to-training.html

The Long Cold Run. Monday, June 05, 2006. With summer upon us, I'm back to training and looking forward to some summer fun runs and preparing for the fall race season. So far, I'm registered to run the Let's Run, Have Some Fun. Series in Cambridge. The series has 4 races, each with a different music theme, after-party, and band. I'm also excited to report that Speedy Ima. And I picked up our brand new B.O.B. Posted by Jesse @ 4:13 PM. Be sure while you are there to read The Greatest Marathoner. Welcome t...

The Long Cold Run: April 2006

http://longcoldrun.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html

The Long Cold Run. Sunday, April 23, 2006. I know that I want to run a couple of 5K races this summer and the BAA half-marathon in October but I'm still trying to decide which races to really push for. Likely, it will be the Somerville Homeless Coalition 5K this fall. That way, I can spend some time on speedwork and getting a stronger stride. On the fundraising front. I'll continue to say it - IF A 6 YEAR OLD CAN GIVE HIS ALLOWANCE, YOU CAN MATCH IT! Posted by Jesse @ 4:02 PM. Links to this post. On Thur...

The Long Cold Run: November 2005

http://longcoldrun.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html

The Long Cold Run. Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Yesterday was a surprisingly warm sunny November day which made for a perfect chance to return to running outside post-baby and stress fracture. I went out just before sunset and it was in the mid-50s. The run felt great. As expected, I didn't run my usual 7:30/mile pace but I kept the pace under 9:00/mile which I felt good about for a first run in 8 weeks. Posted by Jesse @ 6:13 PM. Links to this post. The Long Cold Run: February 2006

http://longcoldrun.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html

The Long Cold Run. Monday, February 27, 2006. 4 and looking like Elmo. I ran last night after Speedy Ima's. 30th birthday party because I didn't have time to run beforehand. The windchill never got out of the single digits yesterday and by the time I got out there, it had fallen to -2 at the start of my run. Six miles in it had dropped again to -4 windchill. All of this despite dipping my head and body in a tub of vaseline beforehand! Posted by Jesse @ 2:02 PM. Links to this post. Magazine issue featured...

The Long Cold Run: February 2007

http://longcoldrun.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html

The Long Cold Run. Monday, February 19, 2007. Dublin, Morocco, and Disney. So, after running with Dean Karnazes, tearing my rotator cuff, and agreeing to take a year off of running the Boston marathon, I had a hard time deciding what to do for a running/racing schedule this year. So, I've decided to run the Dublin Marathon this October to raise money. For Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership. Want to know more about why I'm running for MBHP? The Long Cold Run: December 2005

http://longcoldrun.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html

The Long Cold Run. Thursday, December 29, 2005. This year and next, Pesach and the Boston Marathon are on a collision course for those who both keep Pesach (particularly those who are Ashkenazi) and run the Marathon. Over the next 2 months, I'll be testing recipes for alternatives to the usual performance nutrition products. For now though, here are some things to consider if you also find yourself needing these alternatives:. If you have good recipes, lets read them! Some suggestions for what NOT to do:.
