While I was not the first of the sobriety trio to pitch myself off the wagon, I was the most enthusiastic about it. Subsequent attempts to moderate (this is getting beyond a joke, right? Led to such spectacular incidents as consuming two bottles of wine at a time. I had more days sober than days not sober, but that’s not really the point, is it? I showed my husband this today.
