http://sgcrcgulfport.blogspot.com/2007/06/tuesday-update.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Last evening after dinner a group took a drive around Gulfport. Two of the sites we saw were a wall that used to divide the races - whites on one side, blacks on the other; and a 500 year old oak tree just off the gulf coast. Posted by South Grandville Church. Hi again from Michigan to Miiissssiiisssiiippppi! Nice to see some more pictures of your work. Brent, where is your green shirt? And Becca, are you painting the house or your shorts? This couple is rebuilding across from the beach and it was interesting to hear them tell their story of the recovery. A boot found on the beach - debris is still floating in from the Gulf. We continue to pray for the team and really like knowing what's going on. I'm sorry to hear about the bugs - that can get in the way of comfort and productivity. It must feel good to have a project completed. It will be interesting to hear how a small community will be to work in. June 14, 2007 at 8:20 AM. If you could post that in your next update.
