Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Snow White Puppet Show Dress. Natalie very much likes to dress up, especially as a princess. We are going to Disney World soon and I knew that she would want to dress up at the park. But you can really only wear one of those cheapy dress up gowns for so long before they get annoying. A while ago on Pinterest I saw how Jan. Had turned the Puppet Show dress by Oliver S. Into Snow White's dress, so I made one for Natalie. I followed Jan's tutorial. I absolutely love how they tu...

Wednesday, July 18, 2012. I want to invite you over for a visit and share with you my kitchen table. Like most homes, the kitchen is the center of our home and when we have family meals this is where we gather. The table was given to me by my dear aunt Pam who recently went from living in a Traditional style home to a rustic log cabin and had no need of it anymore. I was most grateful to her for allowing me to have it. The table has a thick glass top with a concrete base, and seats six. The kitchen nook ...

Thursday, December 20, 2012. A Holly Jolly Christmas. Christmas is only days away and I hope everyone has completed their shopping and not to mention their decorating! I must admit I still have one gift to buy and the decorating could go on till next year…. With that being said let's take a look at the living room decor. Even the lanterns have been embellished for the season. Cute print framed thanks to The Graphics Fairy. And another Mark Roberts Fairy. Some even have words. From A Southern Blossom.

Before I share with you my Fall decor I wanted to share with you one final tablescape of the Summer that has so gracefully past us by, and along with that the addition of three new mirrors hung above the buffet. So without much ado let's ponder a final tablescape for Summer of black and green. The foliage has been losing its freshness through the month of August, and here and there a yellow leaf. Thanks for visiting,. And Kim at: Savvy Southern Style.

Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Gobble till you Wobble.Thanksgiving Tablescape. Thanksgiving for me growing up always represented food, family and thanking God. The theme this year is all about being thankful for family, for health, and to God for providing us with all that we have here on earth. When my husband was young he rarely celebrated a traditional Thanksgiving, given the fact that his parents worked in the restaurant business, and were always working during the holidays. And every year my husband c...

Monday, February 25, 2013. What could be more fun than a baby shower. Recently, a friend and myself had the pleasure to hosting a baby shower for my sister-in-law's first. The theme we chose was nesting and the invitation resembled this one:. Since baby Allison's due date is in the month of March we felt the color scheme should represent the colors of Springtime, lots of pinks and greens. We group several banquet tables together to hold all of our favorite recipes, thank you Pinterest. The candy buffet w...
