My Cozy Corner: July 2010
http://ourfamilygray.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
What are you Reading? Saturday, July 24, 2010. So I made this for potluck a few weeks ago. It was actually more yummy the day I made it, but I think thats because it was slightly warm. I didn't have the mozzarella balls, but this still had really nice flavor and it was so pretty! 12 oz short tube shaped pasta. 2 bell peppers (I used one yellow and one red) halved, stemmed, and seeded. 6 garlic cloves unpeeled. 1/4 almonds (I didn't use this). 8 oz small mozzarella balls. 1 bunch fresh basil, leaves torn.

My Cozy Corner: October 2012

What are you Reading? Friday, October 5, 2012. I haven't written here in a while. Mostly because I haven't had time, and partly because I forget. I want to change that though. So here's my first post in a long time. Balance, I struggle to find it. I am a stay at home mom, so I should be able to do it all right? It's such a struggle for me to juggle housework, cooking healthy meals, laundry, my husband, and spending time with my kids. Plus my photography hobby. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Long Time No See.

My Cozy Corner: June 2010
http://ourfamilygray.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
What are you Reading? Wednesday, June 30, 2010. I actually thought when I posted this last week that it was truly Wednesday, and it wasn't until Jason came home and told me it was Thursday that I finally realized that. I could never be a Dr. or a Nurse because, if someone came in oozing anything I would totally leave the room and never come back. Same goes for a Dentist. I am afraid to "follow" people that I don't know on their blog, because what if they think I'm some sort of crazy person? Heels It's ta...

My Cozy Corner: What are you Reading?
http://ourfamilygray.blogspot.com/p/what-are-you-reading.html
What are you Reading? What are you Reading? The first book I am going to review is.(drum roll please) Created to be His Helpmeet by Debbie Pearl. (was that actual groaning I heard? I am recommending that all married women read this. It really is a good book. There is one that was just released called Preparing to be His Helpmeet, I am sure that one is just as good. Sometimes for me it's hard to put the mom hat aside and put on the wife one (not the nagging wife one, the fun wife one). The book has go...

My Cozy Corner: February 2011
http://ourfamilygray.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
What are you Reading? Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Dear Baby in my Uterus,. I love you. I do. But could you please, please be awake when I am awake? And not decide to have a party in there at 10:00 pm every night? Or, aim your kicks to a place where I am less likely to feel them. Say.the placenta! Signed an exhausted mommy,. I love the first snow. But don't you think it's time to take a break? I would like to be able to go out without having to layer up my two children. Who by the way, hate coats. I am tha...

My Cozy Corner: August 2010
http://ourfamilygray.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
What are you Reading? Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Now my family isn't one of those families who won't eat broccoli. In fact they love it. Lailah and. Xander down the stuff like it's candy. But I came across a recipe on a friends FB page that I just had to try! 4-6 Garlic Cloves sliced. 6 Tbs olive oil. 1/2 tsp. black pepper. Parmesan Cheese (I used a fresh grated, I guess you could use the Kraft stuff, but I like fresh better.). 3 tbs toasted Pine nuts (I didn't use this.). Sunday, August 29, 2010. Please ...

What are you Reading? Sunday, February 19, 2012. A rant, a rave, it's a bit of an opinion piece. Disclaimer* This is my opinion only. If you disagree that is fine, I have no problem with that. This past week I was sick, so in sick person fashion I watched the TLC show "Toddlers and Tiaras". Can I just say. Oh. My. Word. I mean seriously. I wanted to jump through the screen and shake those mothers. It made me so angry. Let her be a girl. Let her be a child. Let her be natural. For some girls, ...In the wo...

My Cozy Corner: A book review-Softly and Tenderly
http://ourfamilygray.blogspot.com/2011/04/book-review-softly-and-tenderly.html
What are you Reading? Monday, April 11, 2011. A book review-Softly and Tenderly. I recently had the opportunity to read the book "Softly and Tenderly" by Sara Evans. Like most Christian novels I have read, I expected to be able to tell how it was going to end after reading the first chapter. I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case. I found the book interesting and easy to read. It was realistic and not overly preachy. The undertones are defintly Christian. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

My Cozy Corner: September 2010
http://ourfamilygray.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
What are you Reading? Friday, September 24, 2010. Nothing for which they cry for. So last week we spent a few days at Virginia Family Campmeeting. It was such a blessing for my little family. My husband and I got to sit down and reassess some things. We heard uplifting and encouraging meetings and my toes got stepped on. (But in a good way.). In fact one the things that was gone over was not giving your children everything they cry for no matter what. I am. How can you not be aware? Because I think as a ...
