Friday, August 14, 2009. One of the world's most powerful and majestic animals is fast becoming extinct. For the love of wealth, prestige, and their prized organs, poachers continue to hunt and kill wild tigers. Man’s greed and his attitude towards preserving the natural habitat of these threatened species have been direct contributors to the imminent extinction of the various species of tigers. It has become a battle of man against animal! When will the intervention come? Links to this post.

Sunday, September 12, 2010. Our Federation cannot escape the damning effects of climate change. Ocean and atmospheric temperatures have seen record-breaking numbers and notable variations. Our beaches have been ravaged by the ruinous onslaught of violent storms while our landscape has been subject to the merciless blows of never before seen category 4 and 5 hurricanes. Monday, March 15, 2010. How did these young minds end up behind three-holed masks, toting some of the most destructive weaponry ever made? Who are these young soldiers and why do they sacrifice freedom for prison? Why do they give up hope for an inevitably gruesome death? Many of our federation's young men are self-proclaimed soldiers of a cause that seems ludicrous at best. Still, adult opinion hasn't stopped the dogged pursuit of one gangster to destroy the life of another. He suggests he'll never tell.

Monday, August 23, 2010. There are two primary choices in life; to accept the conditions as they exist, or to accept responsibility for changing them." (Denis Waitley) A number of years have passed since we have been intensely debating "who" bears the responsibility for solving crime in the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Who am I to even proffer any avenue as a conduit to resolving some of the challenges we face with regard to crime? I am you; the mother of a dead son; the brother of a dying man....

What Would You Ask? A Doctor’s Plea. Monday, March 30, 2009. What Would You Ask? If you had an opportunity to ask “him” one question on behalf of the Federation of St. Kitts-Nevis, what would that question be? Who better to mediate the plight of millions of West Indians than our Caribbean leaders? Mindful of the barrage of challenges we currently endure, will our Prime Minister position himself to ensure that the current "state of affairs" in the Federation will make it onto the President's radar? If our...
