That’s 10 seconds faster than my last run. My last run was 30 seconds faster than the run before that. The run before that was an entire minute faster than the run before that. It’s important to cross-train because it builds muscle that you don’t build by running. The more muscle you have (leg or not) the easier running is on your entire body. This is especially true if you pay attention to the muscles in your legs. While you may not use some of those muscles in running, they make the job of your running muscles much easier.
