I am strong. I have always been strong but today I feel it. I feel my strength because I have been forged by fire and have come out cooled, fully knowing and accepting who I am. I have no secrets from myself and from God. I love and accept who I am and honor the twisty, hilly path it took to get me to stand strong on this surface of Mother Earth. Five and A Half Months. I’ve been coming to grips with reality and about my. Stumbles and bumps, trying not to beat myself up too much and I have great help from many friends who bring me back to reality. I’ve come to understand my own limitations and take steps to handle them alone. I’ve dubbed 2013 the year I stop beating myself up and accept all of me as being the perfect manifestation. October 15th, 2012. It’s been six weeks since my beloved passed and the heavy hand of sadness pushed down on me. I allowed myself time to lie on the couch,. Let the dishes remain in the sink, not make the bed, vacuum, or even shower. The best thing I did for myself was get a hammock from the neighbor and really rest. Hospice literature says to allow myself plenty of rest. Although I tried to beat myself up for falling apart, I’m not going there with a guilt trip with. The help of friends and a therapist.
