Mike, Michelle, Chance, Keaton, Race, and Rylie. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Mr and Mrs. Potato Head Pumpkins. For family night this week we "carved" our pumpkins. Chance and Keaton told me they were too old for this and opted to not decorate a pumpkin. Race and Rylie had lots of fun. Mike, Michelle, Chance, Keaton, Race, and Rylie. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Race Did It Again! Haley Elementary had another Running Club Race today held at Tarwater Elementary. There were 5 schools and almost 600 children participating! It was insane. Once again, the children were divided into groups of girls and boys by grade. Even though the 6 grade boys and girls had about a 30 second lead on the 5th grade boys, Race came in 11th overall AND 1st among the 5th grade boys! Way to go Race! So many famil...

Mike, Michelle, Chance, Keaton, Race, and Rylie. Friday, May 21, 2010. I actually received my AA degree in December, but the graduation ceremony wasn't held until May 14th, 2010. It was a fun, but VERY long night. We first had a cord ceremony in the library for all those with Education majors. Then we had a catered dinner. Then we hung out for a couple of hours, the graduates lined up, and finally walked. It took 5 hours! It was a very long night! Thanks Mike for the great graduation gift - a new laptop!

Mike, Michelle, Chance, Keaton, Race, and Rylie. Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Race turned 11 on June 4th. He had a great pool party and then played video games and air hockey. He was more excited about his presents. He received enough money to buy his own Ipod Touch! I'm thinking of throwing myself a birthday party next year! We had a BBQ and pool party at our house on Memorial Day on all of my family came over to play! The kids had a blast swimming and the parents all had fun just relaxing and hanging out.

Three other students were running against Race and five other students were running against Rylie. Mike, Michelle, Chance, Keaton, Race, and Rylie. Saturday, February 20, 2010. I am constantly amazed at how great my kids are and all the talents that they have! I know - I sound like a proud mother, and I am! Race had his last running club track meet of the year on Thursday, February 18th, and did a great job! He came in 2nd place for 5th grade boys and 8th place overall. Once again they ran in groups of boys and girls, by grade level, 1 1/2 miles. YEAH Race! Way to go Chance! His hidden talent emerges!

Chance has to take a fine arts class for school and this last month they've been working with clay. I found this sitting on my counter last night. The green beans are pretty realistic!
