I was good to bring a change of clothes for him, but forgot to bring a change of clothes for me. So I had pooped stained shorts for the rest of our flights. Sunday, January 9, 2011. So since we live in Japan, we are 16 hours ahead of our Arizona family and friends, and therefore, we celebrate Christmas before all y’alls! Salami, cream cheese, and jalepenos. Look what Santa brought us! Nativity from Josh and Marissa. Presents under the tree Christmas morning. Stocking stuffers – candy, pistachios, hiking first aid kit, and chap stick. Gift from Lindsay and Dis – matching mugs and…. Stephen’s Hot Cocoa! They do not sell that here). With the arrival of a new grandbaby, grandparents jump at the opportunity to meet and hold their new little one – even if it means traveling to a different country! Sunday, January 1, 2012. Here is one end of the giant tug-of-war rope (left) and a picture of me standing by one of the two ends of the rope they connect together to create one really long rope (right). I decided I would try to help move it, but it was a little to heavy for me! Then they tie the two round edges together and we are ready to begin. Monday, November 1, 2010. Chris and I had a hard time moving through the caves at times because we were crouched down avoiding stalactites and stalagmites. There was even a part in the tour where we turned out our lights and it was so dark I couldn't see my hand in front of my face! Thursday, January 31, 2013. Christmas Eve/Christmas Day 2011. Christmas this year was on a Sunday. We still had church at 9am, but it was just Sacrament Meeting, so only an hour. We woke up and opened our stockings before church. Then we came home from church to open the presents from under the tree. Here are a few pics of what we got. Institute manuals and Settlers of Catan game from Santa. Our Stockings on Christmas morning. The new Daughtry and Nickelback albums. Christmas Breakfast: Cinnamon Rolls!
