http://wedonothaveaknittingproblem.blogspot.com/2015/05/oh-places-we-went-and-food-we-ate.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Oh the Places We Went and Food We Ate! This post may cause a hankering for southern food. Especially biscuits. First of all, we stayed at the convention center hotel and quickly found the Opryland Resort was appropriately named. It was like a mini Disneyland! There was a boat ride inside. First southern fried meal was from the iconic Loveless Cafe; complete with sides of fried green tomatoes and mac and cheese. And biscuits. Biscuits and jam. heavenly. A country breakfast is no joke.

Greater Birmingham Fiber Guild. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. At Saturday's meeting, Deborah Narramore described something interesting that she had recently come across. Someone had realized that the color blue was not mentioned in either of Homer's books, the Iliad. And suggested that this could indicate that the color blue was one of the last dyes to be discovered.
