Exploring Life One Day at a Time. Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Trujillo - The Beginning. Before we left for Peru family joked how long it would take for me to post about the trip. My goal was to get it done within the first week. Obviously, very unrealistic. So here is to finally posting. I am going to post each city separately, since Trujillo alone has become a massive post. Enjoy! After 6 months of planning the day finally arrived. We got into a taxi and headed to JFK to fly to Peru! Look at that color!

Mr and mrs takahashi. Saturday, May 25, 2013. Graduation / Moving Party. Yesterday morning i had my graduation commencement ceremony. I graduated from cal state long beach with a bachelors degree in art-option art education. My brother alex was kind enough to get me these balloons. That someone left . lol. Two weekends ago I had to work Saturday morning so Wes met me after work to walk through this adorable artisan market right outside of my work. Monday, July 20, 2015. What's In A Name? We're on the search for a baby name. And we are getting nowhere reeeeal. So, I thought this would be a good opportunity to record the stories of how we choose our first three kids' names. Since our last one won't have a name, I might as well do it now.). If I had birthed a child between 1992 and 2004 they would have been named Dustin or McKenzie. Ick.). The name Brooklyn comes from the city in New York which is abstractly fitting for her. Mr and mrs takahashi. Saturday, November 16, 2013. On Friday evening michio and I went night fishing with one of his buddies that he went to high school with and his wife to start off our weekend. But with took a boat out to part of the river where there is a beach. We made a bonfire cuz it was super cold! And for light of course). Michio caught 2 catfish, and i caught one. Michios friend justin and his wife tiffany didnt catch anything =[. But we did have some yummy hot chocolate! She LOVES to cuddle.

Monday, June 8, 2015. Let's go back in time 7 months and pretend like I didn't forget to post about my last season of dive coaching, umkay? I quit then got rehired right before the season started. I watched one of my divers score a perfect 10 (and then fail her next dive.). I saw 3 guys hit the board in a meet all in a row. I dragged my kids to every practice and they loved every second.
