Sunday, June 1, 2014. Sactown and Back Down. We came back for some end of the year merriment and the last of our ballet/tap classes for a bit. To make this post as convoluted and non-sensical as possible, I thought I should add that I like this shopping site, Golden Tote. I'm not getting compensated to say I like their stuff but their I did post a referral link. Posted by Cupcake Mama. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. One Fine Day: February 2012
http://ethanandkimberly.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 22, 2012. I grew up Baptist. That's all I've ever known. And if someone had ever told me I'd be observing Lent someday I would have laughed. Doesn't everyone know that's a Catholic holiday? Yet I feel drawn to this time of repentance and reflection. What can I sacrifice to grow closer to Christ? Has shared some lovely scripture memorization cards for this and a plan that takes the rest of the calendar year. I hope to memorize it a bit quicker, but we'll see. :). A Time For Testing.

Ordinary Girl...Extraordinary Life: 31 Days to Clean - Day 1
http://melissanorththomas.blogspot.com/2016/02/31-days-to-clean-day-1.html
Ordinary Girl.Extraordinary Life. Friday, February 12, 2016. 31 Days to Clean - Day 1. On Day 1 of 31 Days to Clean Sarah Mae asks. Why do you want a clean home? And all kinds of reasons came to my mind,. So that others don't judge me. So that I can open up my home to family and friends and not be embarrassed. So that the voices in my head that tell me I'm not enough will be quiet. So that I am not ashamed when people stop by unannounced. And as I ran through this list I realized something. Ordinary Girl...Extraordinary Life: May 2015
http://melissanorththomas.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Ordinary Girl.Extraordinary Life. Saturday, May 30, 2015. Financial Goals Update from May and Our New June Goals. These were our May financial goals. Pay all of our May bills. Finish funding our closing cost account (we only need 377 dollars)! Since my last financial goals post some of our goals have changed. One of our conditions is that we must pay off 3 accounts and close them. One account is an old debt (around 1,000), one is a store account that we opened in order to improve our credit (around 3...

Ordinary Girl...Extraordinary Life: She Knew Not That It Was Jesus
http://melissanorththomas.blogspot.com/2016/02/she-knew-not-that-it-was-jesus.html
Ordinary Girl.Extraordinary Life. Monday, February 22, 2016. She Knew Not That It Was Jesus. And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Mary broken and afraid, had gone to the grave to tend to the body of her Lord. He was DEAD! He had promised to...

Ordinary Girl...Extraordinary Life: June 2015
http://melissanorththomas.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Ordinary Girl.Extraordinary Life. Saturday, June 27, 2015. I made Chocolate Chip Muffins on Saturday, as a special breakfast for the kids. I like to make them something special on Saturdays because during the week things are so hectic (I’m still asleep) in the mornings I barely get the cereal in the bowl. These muffins were very good and I will be making them again. I think next time I will double the recipe and make some BIG muffins and some normal size muffins. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

Ordinary Girl...Extraordinary Life: Do They Want What I Have
http://melissanorththomas.blogspot.com/2016/02/do-they-want-what-i-have.html
Ordinary Girl.Extraordinary Life. Monday, February 15, 2016. Do They Want What I Have. Our conduct has a direct influence on how people think about the gospel. The world doesn't judge us by our theology; the world judges us by our behavior. People don't necessarily want to know what we believe about the Bible. They want to see if what we believe makes a difference in our lives. Our actions either bring glory to God or misrepresent His truth.”. Carolyn Mahaney, Feminine Appeal. Do They Want What We Have?

Dunn House Happenings: February 2011
http://dunnhousehappenings.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 28, 2011. Old friends and prayers. Yesterday an old "friend" came to visit. We hadn't seen him in about 6 years. My husband has known him since they were pretty young. And since I have been with Roy for the last 20 or so years, I have known this guy that long. Eventually, they broke up, moved away, and we lost touch for the most part. The girls are now 18 and 17. choke, choke. Where has time gone. The girls drifted through town staying with different people all the time, ...About the tim...
