I've had people complain that I've been too tough on Anand but in all honesty Anandtech is not the only website playing fast and loose with reviews. Anand has made a lot of mistakes lately that he has had to correct. But, aside from mistakes Anand clearly favors Intel. This is not hard to see. Go to the Anandtech home page. And there on the left just below the word "Galleries" is a hot button to the. All CPU and Chipset Articles.

Wednesday, July 08, 2009. With the internet still flaky I had to make another call to customer service. They sent another cable technician who replaced the cable modem and now my connection is working much better. I also have some spare money but I'm still trying to figure out a new system. I guess I'm looking at something that would qualify as an AMD Dragon system:. Case: Cooler Master Storm Sniper. Power Supply: Antec Signature SG 850. Motherboard: Asus M4A79T Deluxe. Video card: ASUS EAH4890/HTDI/1GD5...

Thursday, February 12, 2009. I've been looking over the example systems at Anandtech. For the most part they do make reasonable choices. However, sometimes they betray definite biases in either choice of processor or their desire for overclocking instead of practicality. For our next system we have a target of $1300. The example systems in this range are not very balanced. In particular the Intel system. This leaves the final two systems. We have the i7 Overclocking system. Author: Scientia from AMDZone.

Intel vs ARM - chronicles of the great Semiconductor war: AMD sells stake to Abu Dhabi
http://sharikou180.blogspot.com/2007/11/amd-sells-stake-to-abu-dhabi.html
Intel vs ARM - chronicles of the great Semiconductor war. Wednesday, November 21, 2007. AMD sells stake to Abu Dhabi. AMD heads back to the market for more cash. This time Abu Dhabi buys an 8.1% stake. In other news, anyone seen wide availability of Barcelona yet. Very very disappointing launch and Phenom isn't that much better either. Anandtech has a review. In fact, I'd be pleasantly surprised if he stays in his job for another 30 weeks. In a sense they did get a premium as there is 8% stock dilution (...

Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Is Anandtech Any Help In Selecting A Computer? In my last article I talked about trying to decide on a new computer system. My current plan is to put something together after I see how much difference Bloomfield and Deneb make. Information would be nice. According to Anandtech's graph above, the Q9300 draws less power than the E6750. This would be quite impressive if true. However, this graph is easily falsified because according to Intel the E6750 is 65 watts. These price cur...

Sunday, May 29, 2011. I've had pretty good experiences with the three processors I purchased: the AMD PII X3 720 Black Edition, the AMD PII X4 965 Black Edition, and the Intel i5 750. I also had good experiences with the three graphic cards I purchased: an ATI HD 4650, and two ATI HD 5770's. I liked the three cases and the three power supplies. Author: Scientia from AMDZone. Friday, November 13, 2009. A First Look At AMD And Intel Stock Coolers. This is rundown of the stock coolers for the Intel i5 and AMD Phenom II processors that I have along with third party coolers. Click to enlarge any of the following images. On the left is the stock cooler for the Intel i5-750. On the right is the stock cooler for the AMD Phenom II X3 720. The Intel cooler weighs 250 grams while the AMD cooler weighs 280 grams. The Intel cooler has a larger fan. Here you can see that the base of the X...
