Wednesday, February 8, 2012. This Girl Is Potty Trained. Almost. She is still wearing diapers at night and naptime, but she is doing so well during the day! I can't believe how fast she caught on to the whole thing. I was so nervous about potty training her because she drinks SO MUCH WATER. I thought if we ever went out anywhere we would have to stop every 20 minutes to find a bathroom! Every time she went potty she got to "bedazzle" her potty poster. She loved putting the jewels on. And this is now.

Sunday, November 23, 2008. HAHAHAHA oh my goodness, today i was even more of a daredevil than ever before! I don't want to go into detail again about the poor traffic skills and complete chaos that is the streets of shanghai because i don't want to scare anyone, but it was interesting. nothing too dramatic happened and we arrived safely. and we only paid 7 RMB, which is about one dollar. sweet. it was so fun! Marai think you needt bring me backa purse and wallet, what do you say to that? ME AND THE KEEGAN.

Monday, August 25, 2008. Jake is beginning to talk up a storm! Generally, he's a pretty sweet toddler. We have the occassional upset when he's over tired and the occassional power struggle as he begins to assert his own opinion. Here is some of his new vocabulary. Moff (meaning 'come off'). Monday, May 4, 2009. He's Gonna be a BIG boy. Then I was talking to Jessie the day after and learned Jake's feet are the same size as Ella's. Ella is Jake's cousin who is 18 months older than Jake. And I won't be surprised if on our next visit they are close to the same height. Jake grows out of his wardrobe about every 6 months. Which totally feeds my shopping bug. Sunday, November 11, 2007. It was a fun weekend as we celebrated Jake's first birthday. He turned one on Thursday - I brought a giant mylar balloon shaped as the number 1. The balloon is as tall as Jake (30 inches) Jake enjoyed slobbering and rolling over the balloon. Later that evening we celebrated by opening two presents. And having a little ice cream after dinner. On Saturday we went to Great-Grandma Fereday's (or GG as she likes to be called) and had spagehtti dinner with chocolate cake for desert.
