I suppose rest is a relative term, I was back in Paris and had a lie in before I went out to do lots of little jobs that needed to be done. I also haven’t taken a flight in almost 10 months, as I can jump on a train in Paris and go anywhere in Western Europe which is ace. And that’s the last short post about Paris. There were a few cities in the area that sounded interesting, but there was one thing that I wanted to do in Toulouse that made me come here rather than Montpellier or somewhere else. At the moment I’m thinking that I should’ve stayed in Marseille though as it was the first rainy day of the holiday yesterday, thankfully today was reasonably sunny though. Not just another WordPress.com site. Bordeaux: From rugby to wine. Second last city of the trip was Bordeaux and before I even made it to my hotel I saw something really cool! They’ve got a tram system that takes electricity from a third rail on the ground rather than over head wires, and the cool thing is that it (of course) doesn’t electrocute you if you walk on it. Well I thought it was cool…. Feeling a little uneasy now I said OK, what’s the challenge? Bottles lined up in the cellar of the wine museum.

Thursday, 30 August 2012. First off, University has been almost exactly 77.3% less scary than I thought it would be. It also actually wasn't quite as hard as I'd thought it would be! The one thing I struggled with was spending so much of my hometime studying and reading, and I felt I was neglecting my little family at times (usually when an essay was due) however my amazing long summer has totally made up for that! Only a couple more weeks of that left though. and right now I can't wait to get back!
