Have I Been Harmed? In 1994 Congress passed a law called the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-employment Rights Act ( USERRA ). USERRA provides a variety of protections, that include, but are not limited to the right to keep your job given your military service and the right to get your job back once you return from military service.
