To summarize the itinerary/plan, 4 and half weeks would take us to:. Madrid (with a day trip to Toledo). Then off to Portugal to the Algarve, Praia da Rocha. Central Portugal (my parents area, just about 80 kms north of Lisbon). Alto Douro Region where the Port Wine Vineyards are at. Then back to Lisbon for flight to Barcelona for the finale. Madrid at first glance.
