Saturday, November 29, 2014. Two of them were smoked and were actually pretty good. Kylie loved eating mashed potatoes, rolls and some sweet potatoes. Kylie would not cooperate for pictures. Saturday, August 30, 2014. Yosemite Trip: Days 4-5. The day started off with waking up at 3:00am and wanting to leave by 3:30. Of course, in true McKown fashion, we didn't leave until 4:00am. My mom drove as she didn't want to get car sick again, but her driving got the rest of us a little sick! Without it. When we arrived to vernal falls ( I think that's what it's called. My entire back was soaked with sweat! There were these evil stone stairs we had to climb to get there. That's what we hiked. Ugh.

Tuesday, May 19, 2015. This mother's day was really nice. Scott had to work that day so he headed out in the morning and then came home about an hour later. He said that a co-worker of his offered to cover the first 6 hours of his shift so he could spend time at home. How nice of that co-worker! Sunday, March 23, 2014. We had such fun at Sea Life Park. We liked the turtles. Great to see them up close. There were several turtles to see. Next were the sea lions. They loved swimming in the sun. Dennis liked the aquarium. The fish would swim up close. So many fish to see. Glad that shark isn't real. We loved the dolphin show. They did amazing tricks. Thursday, December 19, 2013. December in Laie, Hawaii. We loved going to the Christmas Lagoon at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Here the children acted out the nativity scene. We also saw and heard the three kings who searched for the Christ child. We saw the new star and heard beautiful music. The kids did a dance for Him. Wednesday, October 5, 2011. We loaded up the Westy Rig and headed off to Big Sur to meet our (Deaver) aunts and uncles for the annual camp out. On the way up we decided to stop at Pinnacles National monument and weren't disappointed. The girls were ready for the adventure. The van was fully loaded and ready to camp! EmmaJane was ready to hike (with the help of a gentle nudge from Scott). We entered at the west entrance and really enjoyed the beautiful park and huge rocks. Lets go for it! No sweat for mom.
