Palin's Peyton Place: Curious E-Mail
http://palinpeytonplace.blogspot.com/2011/09/curious-e-mail.html
This blog is meant to be a continuation of my web site, Palin Peyton Place. Some folks have asked me to put it in a format that can show when I update, so here it is. Sunday, September 4, 2011. This was one of the emails that was sent out with the initial batch of emails released from Palin's time as Governor. This is before she is picked to run as Vice President. I doubt she was even on McCain's short list at this point. Things that make you go, 'hummmm'. Posted by Next Chapter. I tried to look up any c...

Anti-white Discrimination Is a Problem in the United States ?! | Stellar Utopia
https://stellarutopia.wordpress.com/2011/08/29/anti-white-discrimination-is-a-problem-in-the-united-states
Scattered thoughts on humanism and its current pursuits…. Anti-white Discrimination Is a Problem in the United States? Anti-white Discrimination Is a Problem in the United States? August 29, 2011. Prof Jeffrey Ogbar debunks. The growing extreme-right movement that is championing that whites are the discriminated race in the United States. A recent study. White Americans saw an even steeper decline in anti-black bias: from 9.1, in the ’50s, to 3.6, in the ’00s. But more striking, according to ...Apparentl...

Dissertation Under Construction: Where have I been?
http://dissertationunderconstruction.blogspot.com/2011/10/where-have-i-been.html
A girl, a blog, some crafts, and one day, a dissertation. Thursday, October 6, 2011. Where have I been? Out of the stockpot, into the fire? It's been since July since I posted! It got so easy to push off posting until next week, then the week after, then the week after. Mostly this has been because of anxiety over two big issues that came up over the summer. I'll be trying to get back into the swing of blogging again. AB's posts over at Secret Confessions of a Trailing Spouse. Very serious cat scholarship.

We had needless drama mak...

Dissertation Under Construction: We're here!
http://dissertationunderconstruction.blogspot.com/2011/12/were-here.html
A girl, a blog, some crafts, and one day, a dissertation. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Writing dropped off the priorities list after. My last post in October. Heater work is unreliable work: when it rains it pours, but when there's nothing, there's nothing. Because J works on the technical set construction end, his kind of jobs dry up once the acting starts, as with the start of all the big Christmas shows. December 20, 2011 at 4:17 PM. Boo to lost books and boxes. yay to new homes! Glad you made it!

Dissertation Under Construction: Deaccessioning
http://dissertationunderconstruction.blogspot.com/2011/05/deaccessioning.html
A girl, a blog, some crafts, and one day, a dissertation. Saturday, May 28, 2011. Deaccessioning is a good word I learned while working for and later researching at museums, and it's how I'm trying to think about the move. It means that, rather than getting rid of something or throwing it away, you deprioritize it out of the primary research or display rotation, and move it on to somewhere that will value it. So what does this have to do with all the pattern photos? And the news about the move? Next week...

Dissertation Under Construction: January 2012
http://dissertationunderconstruction.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
A girl, a blog, some crafts, and one day, a dissertation. Thursday, January 12, 2012. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. It is much easier to do academic tasks which are not writing when there is writing to be done. A friend who is self employed and works alone says: I hate arguing with that jerk out in the shop because he always wants to do things the hard way and he always wins. The jerk I work with wants to endlessly go through research files instead of actually writing, and is winning right now. 10 Get more ...
