http://timelessoasisgarden.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Well on 17th May. We had our solar. On the plus side in the last couple of days according to our new meter we have exported more kwh's than we have used! So hopefully this will continue to allow for the extra usage we have in winter when we use the airconditioning. Our Feed in Tarrifs will be:. 213c - To the 30 June 2012 (16c 7.1c). 258c - 1st July 2012 to 30 June 2013 (16c 9.8c). 272c - 1st July 2013 to 30 June 2014 (16c 11.2c). Labels: House on Two Acres. Thursday, October 3, 2013. Sping is here, but so to are the winds. Cayenne Pepper and Tagastaste seedlings. Snow peas needing to be tied up again, kale and cellary. Supposed to be cuttings but still waiting for them to do something. Raspberry plants about to flower. Blackberry about to flower. Has suffered a bit in the latest windy weather. Plum tree is going well with all grafts growing. Not sure whether the shoot is from the graft. Or the root stock but for now it can stay. Newly planted lime tree.

Timeless Oasis Garden: March 2012
http://timelessoasisgarden.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 31, 2012. First of our wind break. Well last week on a lovely Sunday morning, a start was made to our first plantings to our wind and noise break in our "back paddock". Three native tubestock I had bought at a local craft shop a few weeks earlier and had been sitting on our outdoor setting waiting to be planted. First plant: Agonis Flexuosa (why do I get the urge to wave a wand when I say this? Willow Myrtle as the common (less Harry Potterish) name. And third tree is a dwarf sugar gum.

Timeless Oasis Garden: June 2010
http://timelessoasisgarden.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 14, 2010. New House, New Garden. This is what I am thinking will be the "Colourful Garden" those standard roses are all different colours, whereas most of the other landscaped areas of the garden are very uniform, both in colours and structure. I am thinking of planting some native bottle brushes along that cream fence and making it more friendly for native birds and insects. This is one thing off my list, my garden shed! Labels: House on Two Acres. Five months old (5/9/09). Blaze my mums do...

Timeless Oasis Garden: April 2012
http://timelessoasisgarden.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 22, 2012. Savouring the nice weather before winter arrives. I've just been outside on this lovely morning wandering around the garden, doing a little bit of weeding and just enjoying the freshness after the rain we had yesterday and enjoying the peacefulness that is a Sunday morning before the rest of the neighbor hood (or even just this household) awakens and starts to go about their lives. Speaking of lack of rain I think I almost killed my lemon grass I thought it had some sort of diseas...

Timeless Oasis Garden: January 2011
http://timelessoasisgarden.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 2, 2011. Well there goes another year! Amazing that in a month and a half it will be a year since we moved here. In some respects it feels like we have been here forever and then it also feels like we have only just moved here. I also want to get a few passionfruit vines to cover what was a shadecloth covered play area for the previous owners kids. The shadecloth didn't last long with some of the windy storms we had, so we decided to pull the shadecloth off, but the actual structure i...

Timeless Oasis Garden: July 2010
http://timelessoasisgarden.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 25, 2010. The citrus trees are still surviving even with having some of their leaves blown off in recent very windy storms. I am yet to find out what the problem with the orange tree is, it has rusty coloured areas on the underside of some of the leaves. I am thinking it is from winds or cold because it is all from the same direction. And here's evidence of my recent weeding activities. Labels: House on Two Acres. Sunday, July 18, 2010.
