http://sandalstrapsbeer.blogspot.com/2008/08/yuengling-original-black-tan.html
The Young Theologian as Hop-head. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Yuengling Original Black and Tan. I tried several new beers on our recent trip to Holden Beach. The best, and most notable, of these was the pint of the Duck Rabbit's Milk Stout. That I had in the hotel bar in Chapel Hill while I was sulking about not being able to make it to the Carolina Brewery. The most interesting, however, might have been the Yuengling. Original Black and Tan. A pre-blended packaged beer (more on what that means later).

Saturday, June 10, 2006. Birmingham Bound, or Ga-GA. What happens when you combine a family reunion, the exhibit hall at the county fair, a multitude of multicultural worship services, and one very long committee meeting? Why, you have the (now bi-annual) national convention for my personal brand of the frozen chosen. Church geeks, get out your laptops and follow the bouncing ball through the legislation process as we bring you to General Assembly! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I've included below some reflections - really unfinished thoughts - about the march and rally I attended for the Coalition of Immokalee Workers. Labor organization behind the Taco Bell boycott, earlier McDonalds post, etc.) The experience itself was invigorating and hopeful, and I even got to address the crowd, which was a thrill. Here is a link to the Presbyterian News Service. Am I a closet subscriber to works-righteousness? I am a ...

Literature, Religion, Politics, Rants, Murmurs, and Medieval History. Thursday, April 19, 2007. Bizarre abbot suger quote of the day. Abbot Suger of San Denis. Needed to enlarge the church. For the narrowness of the place forced the women to run toward the altar upon the heads of the men as upon a pavement with much anguish and noisy confusion.". If he's that weird, translating him has got to be a bitch. You're right. It is bizarre. He makes Schenker look lucid. Thu Apr 19, 09:57:00 PM. Cool, a mosh pit ...
