Thursday, January 27, 2011. למה בעצם לא לחפש בחורה ישראלית? שאלה אותי דודתי כשסיפרתי לה שהתחלתי לחפש בייביסיטר במשרה חלקית לבתי. אההה, לא חשבתי על זה. בעיני רוחי ראיתי את בתי, כסקרלט אוהרה, מסתודדת עם אומנת שחורה עבת כרס הרוכסת את שמלתה, או לחילופין עם ספרדיה משולחת רסן עם ררר מתגלגת. גם אינדיאנית שתקלע לה צמות הבאתי בחשבון. אם אנחנו כבר בניו יורק, אמרתי לבן זוגי, למה לא לנצל את זה? אבל הערתה של דודתי הציתה בי את הספק. אולי באמת כדאי ללכת על מישהי ישראלית? מצאתי שלושה טלפונים דרך. החלטתי לפרסם מודעה ב.

Friday, April 9, 2010. סלסלת הפירות: פרק ב . נו, היו תגובות לבלוג? שאלה אמי מספר ימים לאחר שהעליתי את הפוסט הקודם. שגולל את סיפורה של סלסלת הפירות שקיבלה לכבוד יום הולדתה מקסם הפרי. אכן, עברנו כברת דרך ארוכה, אני ואמי, מאז הימים בהם תהתה למה לכל הרוחות יש בכלל צורך בבלוג הזה. יש להבהיר: בימים כתיקונם, אין סיכוי להתחרות באמי בעניין ובתמיכה שהיא משלחת בילדיה. במגרה בסלון בית הוריי, למשל, מצאתי בביקורי האחרון מתחת לערימת עותקים של כל פרקי "המשרד". מי יקרא את זה?
