Friday, May 16, 2008. I går dro vi ut til barnehagen med nesten 500 bilder fra utflukten. Disse bildene skal Nomntu selge til barnas foreldre og slik drive sin egen fundraising. 1 krone blir til 4 kroner. Hun var veldig fornoyd! Vi hadde også med oss tre bokkasser. Vi har brukt 1500 NOK pa a handle inn masser av bøker, bade pa xhosa og engelsk og for ulike aldre (ogsa høytlesningsboker). Dette var veldig mangelvare, så et kjærkomment tilskudd! Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Utflukter for barna noe vi vil prioritere i en slik langsiktig plan, og første utflukt er allerede planlagt! Dette er noe barnehagen har snakket mye om å få mulighet til å gjøre langt oftere enn de hittil har hatt mulighet til. De fleste barna er jo aldri eller sjelden ute av townshipen, og kjenner ikke Cape Town by særlig godt, selv om det bare er en 20 min kjøretur dit. Nomntu er veldig ivrig og snakker om at de minste barna kan "prøve å løpe i gresset"!
