After upgrading my Desire HD to Android 2.3.5 Sense 3.0, I found that the Wifi connection becomes very unstable (continuously connected then disconnected). The solution is to use static IP address (the gateway, subnet mask, and DNS also have to be set), instead of using DHCP to get the IP address. Fitter, happier, more productive. Monday, January 25, 2010. Install HP LaserJet 2420 Printer on Ubuntu 9.04. HP LaserJet 2420 cannot work on Ubuntu 9.04 even if it is well configured. The problem is caused by "hplib", which gets the printer malfunctioned. It also blocks other connections between the computer and the printer. 1 remove hplib (using Synaptic). 3 reinstall the printer (choose AppSocket/HP jetDirect if it is a network printer).
