A Blogsite for RV Bloggers. Working on my Motor Home for the past month. Well lets see what I have been doing for the past month. Mostly doing mods and repairs to the motor home. Installed a 32 inch LED HDTV in place of a old analog one. Converted 30 amp system to 50 amp. Installed a new PD4655 Converter / 4 stage battery charger. A Blogsite for RV Bloggers. The main problem is caused by the plastic lamp holders drying up and shrinking or breaking so that the bulb is loose in the socket. Moisture and Corrosion cause the rest of the problem. Electrical Grease and Corrosion inhibitor will not solve the problem of loose sockets. Here is what I did. 1 I bought 4ea Dorman #85804 Single contact Light Sockets for the Turn Signal and Backup Lights. 2 I bought 2ea Dorman #85802 Double contact Light Sockets for the Stop and Tail Lights.

I drilled 5 holes in the rail at a angle and used 5ea #6 X 1 1/4 Brass screws to hold rail in place. You can just see the heads of the brass screws.
