November 17, 2010. Soft Sugar Cookies and Butter Frosting. 3 1/4 c flour. 1 tsp baking soda. 1/2 c butter (softened). 3/4 C sour cream (8 oz). Mix together in a bowl dry ingredients. In a separate bowl cream wet ingredients. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet until fully combined. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes until BOTTOM is golden brown. Frost and store in air tight container. 3 c powdered sugar. 1/3 c butter (softened). 1 1/2 tsp vanilla.
