@Romi's Studio: April 2007

http://rosemarygoround.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html

A journal of snips and stitches. But not necessarily in that order. :). First, thank you all so much. For the kind comments on Sweet Nothing. Several of you had questions. Sally. Asked if I would make her one. Absolutely! In fact, I will knit several for you if you will knit my Beadwork. Cardigan for me. Not only will you have cool knitted jewelry, you will have my undying devotion, as well. I even have the yarn in stash. And I'll provide the materials for the jewelry too! What a deal, eh? But not on the...

A journal of snips and stitches. It's another frivolous post to make up for the lack of knitting content! You are The Star. Hope, expectation, Bright promises. The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised. What Tarot Card are You? Take the Test to Find Out. This was a fun one. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was wonderful. :). Posted by Romi at 2:20 PM. To all of you (wherever you are) - wishing everyone a happy day filled with great friends and loved ones! And the private em...

http://rosemarygoround.blogspot.com/search/label/bauble

A journal of snips and stitches. In a strange burst of responsibility, I have been working on the poor, lonely orange sweater. It's only fair, since I ran off with some mohair for awhile, that I pay attention to the orange sweater again before knitting lace all summer. But the laceweight. Is beautiful, isn't it? It's 100% silk laceweight. Wouldn't let me buy any more acid green (the tapestry green), and really, they do have a point. :). But before I go on, look at this gorgeous Bauble. I love it. :).

Under a Fairy Moon: October 2008

http://underafairymoon.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Under a Fairy Moon. Knitting, family, and fun. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. There are many things that I want to say about this upcoming election. I feel that it is likely to be the most momentous and important vote of my life, and that the result will affect this country for good or ill in dire ways, depending on the outcome. As I turn introspective about the future of this, my country, my home, I offer you this thought for next Tuesday. Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Raw Catholic Knitter: Spinning Irohamomiji

http://rawcatholicknitter.blogspot.com/2015/06/spinning-irohamomiji.html

Offering my thoughts on faith, knitting and eating raw. Monday, June 29, 2015. This week I've been spinning Corriedale fiber, called Irohamomiji. The fiber was the November 2012 Into the Whirled fiber club, that I bought second-hand. Cris' dyeing inspiration was this photo of a magnificent Japanese Maple:. I think she nailed it! So, I pulled the braid apart by hue (I'm telling you, I'm seriously hooked on this technique! Offered to you by. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Becoming Unspun: September 2011

http://becomingunspun.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

Thursday, September 15, 2011. Jerek started preschool on Monday. It was a day that I almost dreaded. Not because I would be teary that my "baby" was growing up, or because I would be leaving him in the care of adults that knew nothing about him (yet). I was scared for him. My sweet little boy is T E R R I F I E D of other children he doesn't know. But, children he doesn't know? He avoids them like the plague. We take him to McDonald's to play (eww, gross, I know, it builds his immunity, right? View my co...

Spinknitty: June 2011

http://spinknitty.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

A place to talk about knitting and spinning - where my husband and kids don't have to pretend they care. Wednesday, June 15, 2011. The sock goes to camp. Since my last post, I finally got a chance to go camping. Over Memorial Day weekend, Caroline and I went to Ft. Custer with my brother and his family. And I got to spend some quality time in the shower house with about 75 new friends. We were invited there by the tornado warning on Sunday. And then she gave it to me! Next post - new sock, warmer weather.
