July 30, 2013. Impulsive trip to Manchester, TN to see Kristen and some music. It was a completely different experience from last year with T, MK, Lindsay, and Rachel. Very chill, more people centered than music centered. Kristen interviewed several bands, doing what she’s talked about doing ever since I met her. Just living out those dreams. Monthly Archives: June 2013. June 12, 2013. Yesterday I had an 11 hour school day. Coming home, I was drained so Tommy cooked dinner for us and then we took to our back yard for some swing time in our hammock. We caught the sunset and stole the last daylight minutes. It’s amazing how time spent seeking joy during such a brief portion of the day can spread that joy into the entire day- even the hard moments already lived. In All Our Ways. Sunday, January 11, 2015. Here is our sweet, smart, beautiful Ellie belle update. She's doing well. Her biggest news is she is right in the middle of her first full year of school. First day of Year 1. All of the other children in Ellie's class started Reception together the year before, so I wasn't completely sure what the transition would be like for her. A little one-on-one time for Mom and Ellie. She was awarded "star of the week" the first week. One of her first writing assignments.
