This weekend we went to Roanoke to attend the wedding of our friends Tripp and Marianne. Since my family also lives in Roanoke, we decided to make it a long weekend. We left on Thursday and came back home on Sunday. Here is a recap of the fun we had! On Thursday, Todd went golfing with my dad while I went to Vinton to see my friends Crystal and Paula. We all graduated from Tech together and are now all elementary teachers and mommies to boys! Frosty was off to the side. that explains Thomas's glance.

Saturday, July 25, 2015. 4th of July 2015. We went and visited my maternal grandparents for the 4th this year! We had a great time! My brother and sister joined us for the second half of the trip. Sweet Girl was a champion traveler! Lately, if she's a little sad, it helps if I give her my hand to cuddle with. But after a while my hand starts to go numb,. My siblings gave her the puppy as a trade and she cuddled right up to it. It was really sweet! We couldn't have done it without her! I love this picture!

Sunday, August 30, 2015. Yesterday, we got to go flying with our favorite pilot! Sweet Girl didn't love the shooting earmuffs she had to wear,. But she fell asleep quickly so it was okay. Our pilot and his instructor. View from the sky. My Sweet Husband did really well! His landings were very smooth! I was quite impressed! It's fun to get to experience his dreams with him! Tuesday, August 11, 2015. We took a trip up to visit my brother-in-law. We had a great time! Sweet Girl loved the hotel room, especially the mirror! We got there late Thursday night and then. Friday morning we walked around the town near where my brother-in-law is doing an internship,. Since he had to work in the morning. Sweet Girl zonked out on our walk. After we met up with my brother-in-law and had lunch we went to the beach. We went hiking for a little bit and then we went to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Things I Want to Teach My Daughter. The other day as we drove to the doctor,. Sweet Girl was in the back sleeping and I didn't have the radio on,. So I was thinking. I started thinking about the things I want to teach her. I've been thinking about this topic for a long time. Probably long before I got married. Our young women lesson in church really got me thinking about it again. We have awesome young women in our ward,. And I get to serve with them. So in no particular order.

Sunday, August 9, 2015. Seriously, where did this month go? This was a BIG month! Sweet Girl weighs 19 lbs. This month she took her first steps! She isn't totally walking yet, but she's getting SO close! Most of the time she walks along the furniture or with her airplane or a kitchen chair or the wall or whatever is near and she'll keep walking and then realize she is walking and fall or sit down. lol, it's pretty funny.
