1995년 최초로 국가공인시험기관으로 인정 받아 대외 분석 서비스를 제공하기 시작한 분석 센터는 2005년에 국제공인시험기관으로 인정 받았으며, 오랜 경험과 지식을 갖춘 전문인력들과 FT-NMR, FT-IR, UTM, ICP, SEM, TEM, X-ray, GC/MS, HPLC 등 약 200여종의 전문 시험장비를 보유하고 있으며, 이를 바탕 으로 원사, 직물, 플라스틱, 화학제품 등 각종 시험업무를 실시하고 있습니다. UTM, 열응력시험기, 균제도시험기, 광학현미경 Monofilament 인장시험기. Weather-ometer, 마찰시험기 등. 섬유의 기계적 물성, 단면구성 및 견뢰도 측정. FE-SEM, SEM, TEM, XRD, EDS 등. 시료의 표면 및 단면형태 관찰, 무기물 분포, 결정구조 분석. DSC, TGA, DMA/TMA 등. 열전이 온도(Tg, Tm, etc) 열변형 및 점탄성 거동 분석. UTM, 충격시험기, 경도계, Capillary Rheometer, Seasoning 기기 등.

공인교정시험기관 인정제도는 국가적 권위를 인정받은 인정기구 (기술표준원 한국교정시험기관인정기구)가 국제적으로 인정된 평가기준(ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020)에 따라 교정, 시험기관의 품질시스템과 기술능력을 평가하여 공인교정, 시험기관으로 인정함으로써, 그 기관이 발급한 시험성적서가 공신력을 갖추고 있음을 인정해 주는 제도로, 선진국에서는 시험소의 시험분석 능력향상 및 대외무역에 있어서의 기술장벽 대처 수단으로 시행하고 있습니다. 2007년 4월 30일 현재 APLAC MRA에는 24개국 36개 시험기관인정기구가, ILAC MRA에는 45개국 57개 시험기관인정기구가 가입하여 상대국의 공인성적서를 상호수용하고 있습니다.

Ironically, water-related diseases cannot be eradicated since the causal agents are always present in the environment. Therefore, we need to understand appropriate spatial and temporal scales of large scale hydro-climatological processes and develop mechanisms to relate it to the causative agents of the disease. Disease prediction using with hydrological models embedded in epidemiological information can be very powerful in decision making and ultimately saving human lives.
