312 to Europe: The first 36 hours in Venice
http://312toeurope.blogspot.com/2008/06/first-36-hours-in-venice.html
Wednesday, June 25, 2008. The first 36 hours in Venice. We were officially the popular people at the restaurant at this point. If we weren't yet, then this action shot sealed the deal. Here's Angie fishing in the fresh seafood display. As we made stops along our way, we had to enable the security system. This involved us chaining it to a pole. This thing was awesome. Here's a video of Reba and Angie rockin the Pimp Wagon. So I checked. And wrecked it. But I already read this one! June 27, 2008 at 6:07 PM.

312 to Europe: Luck?
http://312toeurope.blogspot.com/2008/07/luck.html
Tuesday, July 1, 2008. The past couple days in Florence have been very memorable. First of all, if being pooped on by a pigeon is luck, I must be the luckiest person in the world. Yesterday on our day trip to Siena, two different pigeons got me, and two others ran into my head. This wasn't all at once either, it was over the span of 4 hours. It was hilarious. Last night, Reba and I went to the movies (an English speaking one, of course) and they were showing The Other Boleyn (sp? Our train leaves at 10:1...

312 to Europe: July 2008
http://312toeurope.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 4, 2008. Our train ride here was a smooth ride. We got a place to store our luggage (which has now reached "ridiculously heavy" status), got in our. Seats, and enjoyed a swift. Ride to Rome. The catch came when our taxi driver cheated us and charged WAY too much for our ride. But oh well, we got to our hotel! It's called Nizza (like Pizza with an N.see how I remember it? The first day, we developed a great system to avoid a heat stroke. We'd go visit places on our list (The Pantheon, the...

Rebecca in Birmingham: Two Weeks Old and a Swimming Pool
http://rebeccainbirmingham.blogspot.com/2009/06/two-weeks-old-and-swimming-pool.html
Thursday, June 4, 2009. Two Weeks Old and a Swimming Pool. Have you ever been sleeping and had someone kick you in the face? If you answered yes, I assume you have brothers or sisters, or perhaps you slept on the floor on a church mission trip with a lot of other people. It must be hard to sleep with someone constantly kicking you in the face, in fact, you would probably only catch short winks of sleep here and there. I knew they would like it. They devoured it in mere seconds! View my complete profile.

Rebecca in Birmingham: The Joys of Motherhood
http://rebeccainbirmingham.blogspot.com/2009/05/joys-of-motherhood.html
Thursday, May 21, 2009. The Joys of Motherhood. Every little thing they do is just so cute and so funny! Peck at it, of course! Romeo also had his first interactions with the ducklings today. Although he would much rather them disappear, he was very good. Again, I still don't trust him enough to leave him alone with them, but he was very good as long as he got some of the attention as well. More pictures at rascats.shutterfly.com. I'm so glad they're finally here! May 22, 2009 at 4:19 AM.

Rebecca's Travel Adventures: July 2015
http://rebeccastraveladventures.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 17, 2015. Returning Home and Saying Goodbye. I made it back to school in time to join in on the picnic (because why would I miss out on a meal or a celebration? The faculty was once again treated to a delicious meal to honor the retirees, especially the head and deputy head who were looking forward to traveling after many years in the classroom. As a treat, a neighbor of Fiona's, brought his Aston Martin to school so the men could be driven off of campus in style, a glorious send off. Sorry ...

Rebecca's Travel Adventures: June 2015
http://rebeccastraveladventures.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. At breakfast today, we decided to eat even more of the huge Scottish breakfast and both thoroughly enjoyed the haggis pudding. It was not our first try of haggis on this trip, but I think it was our best. I'm not positive why it was called "pudding" although it was much less "patty-shaped.". We looked at a couple different options and decided to go with the fast boat. This small, 12-15 passenger boat was practically just a large inflatible boat with a big motor. Our captai...Sure,...

312 to Europe: Flo Rence
http://312toeurope.blogspot.com/2008/06/flo-rence.html
Sunday, June 29, 2008. We made it to Florence! We've been here since Friday and although we miss the unique water-city that was Venice, we are happy to see taxis with wheels. This made my day. After a short trip to the top, we got yet another amazing view of the city. We were then treated with a front row seat to the ringing of the noon bells. Let's talk about loud. The next morning, Angie left us for Prague :( But, she informed us that she got a Czech me out! How crazy is that? Answer: Very crazy, Emily...

Rebecca's Travel Adventures: A Half Hour Drive
http://rebeccastraveladventures.blogspot.com/2015/07/a-half-hour-drive.html
Wednesday, July 8, 2015. A Half Hour Drive. Views along the wall were spectacular, despite the grey skies. We loved looking over the town with views of the castle at every point. Modern technology lined the slate rooftops no doubt several hundreds of years old. Seagulls had created their own world on the rooftops, raising their young in places most down below would not even notice. A fabulously fun diversion from our route! Wales has become an adventure capital of sorts, so Jessica and I decided we neede...
