The classroom is supplied with eReaders. Our goal is to support the students’ independent reading program. Classroom set of Books. Each classroom is supplied with a set of books. Reading Spark works with the Chicago Public Library ensure that the students apply for a library card. We hope that all students will learn that the library is a valuable resource. Parent Seminars explain the benefits of reading at home. Literature and free books will be offered to parents.

Essentials of an Independent Reading Program. An independent reading program must make sure students are:. Matched with a book they can read and understand. Reading a text they enjoy.
