Over the Shoulder | Reading on the Rails
https://readingrails.wordpress.com/2010/02/15/over-the-shoulder
Reading on the Rails. Scared of Tenescowri, and wishing them on people with cell phone speakers. That’s right you are reading a paper that you yourself could have picked up just as easily from wherever you got on. This makes absolutely no sense to me. METRO is a free paper, everyone can afford it. Pick one up yourself. Reading over someone else’s shoulder is just creepy. Stop that. Right now. Till next week, that’s my stop. 2 Responses to “Over the Shoulder”. Feed for this Entry. On February 15, 2010.

Brendan's Book Blog. Now with more alliteration. A Snapshot from the Word on the Street. September 27, 2010. Word on the Street. Yesterday I had the fortune of volunteering once again for Toronto’s Word on the Street festival. The yearly fall event is a celebration of all aspects of the Canadian publishing environment, and I was happy to devote a Sunday morning to contribute in my small way. I signed up to help out at the author signing tent, hoping to meet outgoing mayor David Miller. Still, I felt myse...

Brendan's Book Blog. Now with more alliteration. Gaspereau leaves many grapsing for Giller. November 17, 2010. Tags: Douglas and McIntyre. Perhaps it’s fitting that the latest Giller winner is called. The debut novel by Johanna Skibsrud is published by Gaspereau Press, and until this week was being printed in-house on Gaspereau’s old Heidelbergs. When the shortlist was announced, I considered reviewing all of the nominees, but I knew I’d never get my hands on a copy of. To Canadian publisher Douglas and ...

Reading Railroad: ALL ABOARD!!!
Reading Railroad: ALL ABOARD! Monday, October 12, 2009. I feel as if my heart were breaking.and I think I know the reason but I don't know if it is valid. I could just be reading something into nothing. But that hasn't stopped me from being on the verge of tears all day long. I had a dream last night that went something like this:. My deepest fear is that something like this would happen for real. I think it scares me a little more because I am afraid it will turn out to be like one of those deja vu ...
