Arthur as the lonely child of a rich lord, Merlin as the new stableboy. Bonus points for UST and needy fumblings in empty rooms of the deserted mansion. For being a wonderful beta! Almost forgot my June recs. AU, romance/drama. It's almost finished up to part 13/18. Merlin. I like this one. The chapters are a good length and the relationships and interactions between the characters are well done. Secondary characters are not paper thin (even the annoying ones aka Sophia).
