Psychotic Philosophy: end.
http://seduced-by-suicide.blogspot.com/2010/01/end.html
They're dead, you know? Wednesday, January 13. We stood still and watched the earth rush towards us. The train tracks looked like a ladder,. Ever star a step. life stole so much. Every passing moment greeted by another. fluid. And constant motion, escaping from our grasp. Stay close, and we are time ticking. we are passion. for once,. We are not afraid. What for, you asked. why anything. Your eyelashes spoke symphonies, systematic and it sent me shivering. How could i be so hollow and so full? Turning so...

Watercolors – Wash | Rock, Paper, Scissors
https://radhikaiitb.wordpress.com/2016/02/28/wash
Rock, Paper, Scissors. Watercolors – Wash. This is a great technique to paint a calm sky (though I haven’t done one yet! We practiced flat and gradient washes. The instructor suggested ‘rough paper’ for this technique though I am using ‘cold press’ and I think it works fine. I have not tried ‘rough paper’. Here is the in-class practice painting. The two paintings are done with single washes. February 28, 2016. Laquo; Watercolors – Sumi-E. Watercolors – Wet-on-wet ». Do you want to comment?

Watercolors – Sumi-E | Rock, Paper, Scissors
https://radhikaiitb.wordpress.com/2016/02/28/watercolors-sumi-e
Rock, Paper, Scissors. Watercolors – Sumi-E. I am learning to use more watercolors. I am sitting in a class by Professor Diana Gardner at the University of Utah. We started the class by learning about a technique called ‘Sumi-E’. Sumi-E is a beautiful calligraphic technique. It has origins in Japan and China. I loved the simplicity of the strokes! 8216;charge the brush’, ‘vary pressure in a single stroke to vary width’, apply some dark pigment to the tip of the brush to get variation. February 28, 2016.

Watercolors – Wet-on-wet | Rock, Paper, Scissors
https://radhikaiitb.wordpress.com/2016/02/28/wet-in-wet
Rock, Paper, Scissors. Watercolors – Wet-on-wet. Is better for wet-on-wet compared to cold press. Hot press paper is smoother than cold press so water doesn’t get absorbed as fast. This was the final assignment. I took an image from the internet, increased the contrast in GIMP and then traced the image. I really like the idea of painting a portrait using this technique. I could have filled in the whites in the fabric to have the face stand out more. February 28, 2016. Laquo; Watercolors – Wash.

Human nature: Expectations - The reason for life's disappointments
http://therebelmind.blogspot.com/2010/05/expectations-are-reason-for-lifes.html
Saturday, May 8, 2010. Expectations - The reason for life's disappointments. I picked this cannot-be-anymore-true statement from a friend Nitin's Facebook status and could not stop myself from blogging about the same. Having come across people of different age groups and discussing their "issues", I cannot help imagining that this would be true for most of us in most cases, if not all. Its an obvious NO. It is something that comes naturally and its something that makes any parent happy and proud....Lets ...

Human nature: Small experiences....Massive generalization!
http://therebelmind.blogspot.com/2008/11/small-experiencesmassive-generalization.html
Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Small experiences.Massive generalization! This is one tendency among most humans that is not highlighted too often - we tend to generalize. Our opinions about anything and everything based on what we experience in life. I come across people everywhere who talk about the behavioral aspects of a particular community, one strangely different group of people in office, complications in relationships, things that make us. Then, in a month's time, the buzz about this new fact. Anywa...

Human nature: January 2008
http://therebelmind.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 17, 2008. I have always wondered what makes dogs so lovable. What is it about a dog that makes it man's best friend? The breeds of pet dogs may vary from the rich to the poor but the reasoning given by most people is the same. They say a dog is very faithful to you and remains by your side throughout its life. There is certainly no doubt about that. But is it that simple? Why not a poor person without shelter and food? This blog is actually dedicated to all my canine friends with whom I...
