The Schantz Family: Pumpkin Carving
http://hjschantz.blogspot.com/2012/01/pumpkin-carving.html
Friday, January 13, 2012. Who doesn't like a good gooey pumpkin carving session. After picking pumpkins four times (one was Addie's field trip) we had plenty to carve. Too bad here on the east coast they get nasty quickly due to all the humidity so a carved pumpkin is short lived. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Schantz Family: Cheerleader Addie
http://hjschantz.blogspot.com/2012/01/cheerleader-addie.html
Friday, January 13, 2012. Back in the spring Addie and I were driving and we passed a field of soccer players. She asked, "Can girls play soccer? I of course told her yes and asked if she wanted to try it. She quickly responded, "Um no mommy, I'm going to be a cheerleader." So when the time came to sign up for cheer leading this fall I was first in line. She was by far the cutest little cheerleader on the field and loved every minute of it! Saturday, January 14, 2012. Taking it to the Ice. Addie has been dying to try everything and so this winter we gave ice skating a try. I had pretty low expectations but she did awesome! She was in the beginner class and was able to actually glide a little by the end of the five weeks. She showed no fear, hardly fell, and loved it. We may have a skater on our hands over here! Oh my goodness, that picture of her on her skates is adorable! January 17, 2012 at 8:56 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Invisible Gifts: March 2008
http://invisiblegifts.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
I feel overwhelmingly grateful to them, but I don't know what to do with their invisible gifts."- J.D. Salinger. Sunday, March 30, 2008. Deee's Birthday at St. George. Last Wednesday was Deee's birthday! This is absinthe. As far as I can tell, it involves a bit of bird seed and some black jelly beans. I can see why it was illegal for so long. This appeared to be the only source of water in the entire place. This is where Deee taught me my new motto: 'hydrate to dominate.'. Friday, March 28, 2008. Friday ...

Invisible Gifts: Going SHOPPING!
http://invisiblegifts.blogspot.com/2008/09/going-shopping_17.html
I feel overwhelmingly grateful to them, but I don't know what to do with their invisible gifts."- J.D. Salinger. Wednesday, September 17, 2008. So you can only imagine what I'm unearthing as I begin the slow and painful process of sorting 'what to pack,' 'what to try and sell,' and 'what to toss entirely.' Somethings are obvious: shoes, coming. Shoe rack, selling. Torn pajama pants, tossing. And as I'm emptying out purses I haven't used in months (why all the unused napkins, Rona?
