3 Shinsels (grew to 5): October 2014
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Chill in the Air. It is starting to get a little chilly here in NC. Dorothy had to be bundled up for our walk one morning. Like most things, she didn't seem to mind! She isn't crawling, but she can get where she wants by rolling around it scooting in her bum. She has 2 teeth now, and is almost 20 pounds (75th percentile). I was cooking in the kitchen and she rolled all the way over to me from the other room. Bring on more of this weather! The boys are ...

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): Happy Half-Birthday!
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2015/07/happy-half-birthday.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Sunday, July 19, 2015. I'm still in denial, but Dorothy celebrated her half-birthday this month. She doesn't look like a baby anymore; she is totally a toddler with her own personality! This picture is from her first day of nursery at church. She is doing well, especially when they pull snacks out. The ladies have said she gets upset when the door opens and closes. She is still not saying a ton, but we have heard her say brother and broom, so I know she can do it! Family Fun.F...

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): July 2014
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Monday, July 28, 2014. We only have a month before I have to send Lincoln to kindergarten! Before I throw up at that thought, I need to recap all of our Summer fun so far. I was super brave and flew with the kids all by myself to Denver. Dave had a business trip planned, so we tagged along. The Young family didn't mind! In fact, they were amazing hosts. The kids got along so well! I love this sweet picture of Will with Dorothy. Luke put up a good fight, but sleep finally won!

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): Summer Fun
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2015/07/summer-fun.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Sunday, July 5, 2015. I have been loving the summer! Our days have been flying by. Here's what we have been up to:. I knew I would constantly be asked when screen time was, so I made this chart for the boys. The pictures help Drake, since he can't read yet. We have had friends over to play on our big water slide. After nap time, we go to the pool in the afternoon. Drake had swim lessons earlier this year, but he still has to wear his floaties. I wasn't nervous about leaving the ki...

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): Western Vacation
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2015/07/western-vacation.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Sunday, July 5, 2015. The night before our big Western vacation, I treated mom to a Barry Manilow concert. I figured it was only fair, since she took my friends and me to multiple NSYNC and Justin Timberlake concerts! I only knew a few songs, but it was so much fun watching mom sing the words and loving every minute. When we went up to the escalator to our nose-bleed seats, we were informed that we had been given better seats downstairs! Sydney and Lincoln still look so much alike.

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): Memorial Day
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2015/05/memorial-day.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Wednesday, May 27, 2015. On Monday, Memorial Day, Lincoln said,"I love Memorial Day, it makes me happy." I feel very blessed this can be a happy/ thankful holiday; I know for many it is painful. I'm thankful for the men and women who have died for my freedoms. The weather was perfect, the crowds were perfect, so we ended up staying at there for over 6 hours! When it warmed up later in the afternoon, we set up our water slide. 7 more days of school left! A beard and a rifle.

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): July 4th
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2015/07/july-4th.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Thursday, July 16, 2015. I love everything about this holiday; however, I do feel like an old curmudgeon when people set off fireworks multiple days before and after the 4th. Also, after 10pm is terrible when you have young kids! Dorothy wasn't feeling well, so I took the boys downtown for their annual celebration. We got to meet up with our old friend Tristan! I know it's dark, but the boys enjoyed the fireworks and playing on the train. It makes me want to buy double next year!

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): September 2014
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Sunday, September 28, 2014. I know I say this every year, but how in the world is it time for another birthday for my oldest? Time just keeps speeding up. The birthday boy wanted me to have lunch at school with him, so of course I did. I brought him chicken nuggets, as requested, and homemade Oreos with birthday cake frosting inside to share with his classmates. Link was wearing a birthday crown, and the class sang to him before we are the treats. The hockey game was fun to have a...

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): December 2014
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Monday, December 8, 2014. Thanksgiving at the Outer Banks. Some of my most vivid and favorite memories have happened at the Outer Banks. My family would go every year, when I was growing up. This year, I was able to take my family there for Thanksgiving. The kids loved it just as much as I did and still do! We fed the seagulls every day,. Visited the aquarium in Roanoke,. Ran up and down the sand dunes at Jockey's Ridge,. And ate sand, well, only Dorphy did that. I told him if he ...
