Friday, May 30, 2014. If you've followed my blog over the past few years, you'd notice that every year in the springtime Texas bluebonnet pictures pop up. It's TRADITION! Springtime in Texas is just beautiful. You know those evenings when you go out to take pictures. The stakes are high. The light is perfect. Hair has been done. Outfits are clean and on clean little bodies. And then. NO ONE COOPERATES! Shortly following. Mom begins to boil. I snap pictures until the light disappears. Oh well, it's cute!

I think the make-up I let Rachel wear took her sassiness to another level! I didn't even know it was possible! Luke the baby dragon! So, I took Luke out for one year old shots a week ago and it was the hardest thing ever! My baby is growing up! No more looking and smiling at the camera- he's got more important things to do! Tuesday, May 5, 2015. A few weeks ago Rachel came up to me and said, "Mom- I want a big POOL party for my birthday party this year! With really big excited eyes! To which I replied, "I'm sorry honey, you're not a summer baby, you're a spring baby and pools aren't open in the spring.". As soon as Rachel began to wallow I exclaimed, "You're a spring baby and do you know what that means? It's means we get to go to the strawberry patch! We counted down the days and it finally came! But I had a good feeling.

So I poured a handful of chocolate chips on the counter and headed for the couch. Then he was just too cute. So I got my camera. I took his plug! Little boy, are those chocolate chips good?
