Sunday, November 23, 2008. My final project for ViCo 486 was at Suwali Farm in Glouster, Ohio. The farm is run by Deb Schneider and Rik Simmons. Nine years ago the couple moved from Columbus onto their dream property. It was 42-acres of pasture and woods, with a pond and a barn, which was perfect for their 5 kelpies (herding dogs.) Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Since I have this quarter off, most of the shooting I've been doing is freelancing for the paper. Saturday, May 9, 2009. I'm working on a documentary for my final photo class at OU! I'm working with the Faith Believers' Ministry in Mineral, Ohio and the Feed My Sheep Food Pantry run by the church. Reverend Ray Ogburn and his wife Anita have been wonderful to me and I have had such a great time so far. The church has a congregation of 15, but most weeks there are 10 people (myself included) so it is very different than what I have experienced myself. Posted by Melissa Santorelli.
