Purls of Praise: Christmas Revealed

http://purlsofpraise.blogspot.com/2007/12/christmas-revealed.html

Thursday, December 27, 2007. The mystery Christmas presents have been given and were well received! I made Fast Finish. S for my mother-in-law, Vicky, and sister-in-law, Penny. Penny's throw was cream, taupe, chocolate and red, and Vicky's was cream and taupe. I made the Glowing Colors Afghan. Y quickly. I've never knit on anything larger than a 10 or 10.5 up to that point, so it was fairly awkward at first, wait.it was just plain awkward! However, it did get the job done and rather quickly!

Purls of Praise: I love this yarn!

http://purlsofpraise.blogspot.com/2009/10/i-love-this-yarn.html

Monday, October 5, 2009. I love this yarn! US size 17 needles. One Skein Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande. September 5, 2009. This was such a quick knit and only took me about an hour or so to complete. I can't tell you how much I love this yarn! It is extremely soft! I didn't have size 15 needles as the pattern suggests, so I decided to improvise with my 17s. I think it turned. I made yet another Knotted Openwork scarf. I only bought two skeins so I cast on 30 stitches to keep the length of the scarf.

Purls of Praise: March 2009

http://purlsofpraise.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 30, 2009. Good Friends and Good Yarn. A little over a week ago I was able to go visit my wonderful friends in Colorado.ALL of whom knit! Unfortunately, I have not found my knitting circle here in Georgia, so it was such a wonderful treat to be back with friends.sitting and knitting. First I met up with Farrah. Who actually taught me to knit, and we headed to Knitter's Kove. To get our fiber fix. I bought a skein of El. D. Mouzakis. I also decided to rip out one of the My So Called Scar( ves.

Thursday, November 20, 2008. Just another FO update. I've been working my little knitting fingers to the bone lately and it doesn't look like there is. Any end in sight yet. Size US 11 needles. 1 skein Knit Picks Wool of the Andes. Began November 10, 2008. Finished November 11, 2008. By Sarah E. White. Size US 11 needles.

The West Family 6: September 2009

http://west6family.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

The West Family 6. Friday, September 4, 2009. Do you think it is time I post again? I mean, it has been a LONG time! At first I blamed it on moving. We have been here 2 months now. What is my excuse? I haven't wanted to! OK, that is not exactly true! I have just not done it. So, know I will try to do better. What a truly amazing blessing to have this year! Maybe we can be stationed together again. The very first time we went we probably pulled out 25 fish! It was pretty disappointing to my kids. Caleb st...

The West Family 6: Neighbors

http://west6family.blogspot.com/2010/08/neighbors.html

The West Family 6. Wednesday, August 11, 2010. I have some great American neighbors! When I say neighbors, I mean we are in the same building or group of buildings. When you live in an apartment, what's a floor or two or ten difference when there is an elevator and a really cool electronic key pad/ door camera/ playground camera/ phone to other apartments! For instance, when the toilet overflowed this morning (it was horrible! Cool, but wish my iPhone. The market is just down from the Dunkin Donuts!

The Welch Girls: August 2011

http://welchgirls.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 29, 2011. A Day at the Museum. There was an area to pan for gems, and the girls were allowed to keep all that they found. We found several small colored gems, I'm guessing some type of quartz. Maybe we would know what they were if we had paid more attention in the mineral exhibit. The girls had a blast! You can click on any photo to enlarge it.the girls (and Matt) were quite animated in their poses). Super huge turtle like creature. Links to this post. Saturday, August 27, 2011. Thursday, ...

The Welch Girls: January 2010

http://welchgirls.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 10, 2010. We went to Centennial Park to ice skate. Madeline had a great time and was even able to "ice walk" by herself after several trips around with Dad and Aunt Whitney. Abigail had a great time watching through the plexi-glass. Afterward, we warmed up at the Varsity with chili dogs. Here is our Christmas card photo. It was the result of a self-timer propped up on a chair and I think it turned out pretty well. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The West Family 6. Wednesday, June 3, 2009. With us moving in about 3 weeks, I am always busy going through something, cleaning, fixing, who knows what. Well, let's just say that when I am busy, the kids will play! So, here you have pictures of my sweet Sarah. Yes, that is green ink. A green ink pad to be exact. I am not sure if she was trying to eat it, lick it, chew it.but, the effect is the effect. I am telling you, it is always something around here! This would be me asking, "Sarah, what did you do?

http://west6family.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

The West Family 6. Monday, May 25, 2009. Well, I officially have a 1st grader and a 2nd grader! Grace graduated this past Tuesday! And, yes, she still had to go to school the last couple of days. She was so prepared. She went around singing the songs all the time. I have to say, she knew them! Her reading is great! Her math is improving! Her handwriting is more legible! And, even her coloring is so much better! You are now a 1st grader! Which means no more nap time). Grace and Mr. Lopez, the principal.

Scott and I have recently purchased fishing rods and a kayak, and have been trying to get away for ‘mini-breaks’ to make the most of it! In late January we went to Second Valley with Simon, Janelle and Brodie for a weekend and had an awesome time (despite the poor weather! The beach is stunning and has beautiful cliffs, scenery and even hikes. Unfortunately, it was cool and windy when we were here, which limited our options. But we did go for a kayak, and did a lot of fishing! Every year for the last 11 ...
