The Concepción and the Concepción South mission homes overlook and are located within a half mile of the temple site. View of the temple site from a spot close to the Biobio River. The palm trees and the Araucaria trees cannot be removed as they are native to the temple site.

Sunday, March 23, 2014. Sprint to the End! It was all about our new website elrescate.cl. The Torres del Paine National Park is about 5 hours north of Punta Arenas. We left Punta Arenas at 5:30 AM and didn't get back until 9:30 PM. The scenery in Torres del Paine is spectacular. It was very windy and cold. There were lakes of different colors right next to each other. Grey Lake" had icebergs that have broken off the glacier that feeds into it. Saturday, October 12, 2013. Medical Care Made Easy in Chile. Possible Squamous Cell Carcinoma? We sent this photo to a dermatologist in the U.S. and he said it could be squamous cell carcinoma and it needed to be excised (removed). Within a couple of weeks it had grown rapidly and was very inflamed. It wasn't prudent to wait until we finish our mission. Of course I am thinking about Luke 22 -. When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

Friday, October 30, 2009. I love you Mom! For all those who love the Primary Program at church you will love this one! I had a few kids reluctant to go up at first, but they all made it there. Ryan was fun to watch being a sunbeam and not knowing much of the singing words. He had fun moving his hands around. Emma did great in reading her part. Many told Adam afterwards they were surprised she could read so well for her age. Come on people she is in 1st grade! All I can say was too cute! I love you guys!

Sunday, April 19, 2009. Easter Weekend April 11-12, 2009. We had a good time hunting eggs at the "Outback" (where they have the 2 nd. Graders) and then again in the Walmart. Parking lot in our community of Eagle Point. They had different sections for the different ages but lots of children came to participate. At the school they had free baskets, egg dye, grass, etc. all given through Walmart. Things that didn't sell in past years! It was great because I really didn't have a basket for Jonah and Ammon.

He had put all his blankets and such over the railing, took off his pajamas, and even his full diaper! Luckily, he was just wet and there was no other accidents that I could feel! Saturday, November 22, 2014. Anyway, I busted out the camera for this event and took pictures so here they are. It was Miles' school fundraiser this year. A fun run that the kids got pledges for how many laps they ran. Miles was way in to it because they got prizes for how many dollars per lap they got pledged. He wound up getting a whopping 4 dollars per lap! I really dislike it. My problems aside, THANKS to everyone who pledged! Miles gave me a five as we went around each lap. The Power of a Compliment.
