http://pulitzerproject.blogspot.com/2011/11/katas-progress.html

Reading the winners of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Despite having a BA in English, I am more of a Science Fiction and Mystery reader. My reactions are on my blog. 1919 The Magnificence Ambersons. 1924 The Able McLaughlins. Labels: 1918 His Family. 1919 The Magnificent Ambersons. 1924 The Able McLaughlins. Amazon Book Awards Store.

Reading the winners of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan (Marg's Review). With inside cover copy like that, and the fact that this is the book that won the Pulitzer prize and others, and was longlisted for the Orange Prize as well, who needs a review! The links as we move from chapter to chapter are at times tenuous, but they are all there for a reason. Along the way, Egan makes comment about some important issues. Not only t...I lov...

Reading the winners of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Thursday, December 30, 2010. 1929 - Scarlet Sister Mary. Scarlet Sister Mary won the Pulitzer as a weird switch. The Pulitzer committee wanted to change the scope of the Pulitzer from "a novel which presented the wholesome atmosphere of American life and the highest standards of American manners and manhood" to become "a novel which preferably shall best present the whole atmosphere of American life". Labels: 1929 Scarlet Sister Mary. How, then, can ...

September 12, 2012. Amazing as always. I’m proud of you keep writing doll. I originally set out to live in the past in this post, however the present always proves to be greater. My thoughts throughout the day centered around the unforeseen tragedy of September 11, 2001. I was prepared to recount my exact location when I learned of the initial planes invasion of the World Trade Center, and how I immediately deduced that this was no accident, but in fact a blatant attack of terrorism.
