Thursday, November 24, 2011. The Dance of Gratitude. A big thank you to Bill, Annie and Mary for making Thanksgiving day just perfect! Plus the wonderful calls from the Kern's, Hinz's, Sieler's and Carrillo's. Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Our recent visit to LA for some pre-Thanksgiving visiting with family and friends was full of color and warmth. The accommodations were excellent. We visited the Museum of Natural History to see the dinosaur exhibit. Fantastic! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

makingpeace: A Beautiful Life
http://patrice-makingpeace.blogspot.com/2012/09/a-beautiful-life.html
Friday, September 28, 2012. My darling daughter Annie does quite a bit of real work around our household and I have come to rely on it. After all the jobs were done, they were clamoring for more! What else could they do for me? Pure ecstasy to my ears! I cut a watermelon, popped some popcorn and pulled out some healthy treats I had squirreled away to make them a celebratory tray. But I love the workers attitudes and smiles even more! You are so lucky! Kisses to you and yours,. October 8, 2012 at 7:12 AM.

Tuesday, July 19, 2011. The magic of sparklers! Can you see how much she's grown? The hair pulled back might be throwing me off, but she looks older than I'm comfortable with right now. And where does she get that leg hip pose from? Bill above Lake Tahoe on a gorgeous day. Zooming in and capturing a moment of Annie up. In the tree house she and Bill have been building together. Listening to Bill and Hollis talk while soaking up the sun in Big Sur. Hiking with the entire Hinz family, including Uncle Pete.

Sunday, March 18, 2012. Rainy Day Finger Knitting Marathon. We've been obsessed with finger knitting around here the last few weeks! Annie has gained skill and speed quickly and we are turning the fruit of our labors into bedside rugs for ourselves. We stayed in our pajamas ALL DAY yesterday, knitted on the couch and had a few good laugh attacks. Here are the beginnings of our rugs. Above-Annie's HUGE finger knitted ball! Below-Using hula hoops as the frames of our round little rugs. Friday, March 9, 2012.

Thursday, November 1, 2012. I dressed up as Vincent Van Gogh for Halloween, just for my studio teaching days. Most of the kids (not all! Diverted their eyes and seemed wary of me. Most thought I was a Hobo or creepy guy. Lot's of the grown-ups could guess, especially when I had paint brushes in my hand. If you are interested in Vincent, you've GOT to read Van Gogh, The Life. Thursday, June 23, 2011. Little House in the Big (Sur) Woods. The packing, planning, pet sitters and pushing-to-get-out-the-door are all worth it the minute we arrive and meet up with family in our favorite cabins in the Big Sur forest. This year the cousins joyfully roamed the river, forest and beaches, on this years summer solstice/birthday trip. Enjoyed the "matchy-match" pajama's that LaLa Pat made them. And lounged around in the wonderful weather. Saturday, June 11, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
