Monday, May 24, 2010. We went to a military parade in torrance a few weeks ago. because of j's job we were allowed access into the vip section, away from all the crowds. when i first met j, he was finishing up active duty in the marines, now we are getting ready to send him to OCS (officer candidacy school) in june for 2 months for the national guard. Welcome to the family! It is a good feeling of pride for your man. And Jan has served before? May 26, 2010 at 10:03 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Julia Bender Photography: fig & goat cheese pizza
http://juliabender.blogspot.com/2010/06/fig-goat-cheese-pizza.html
Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Fig and goat cheese pizza. We made this with friends a few weeks ago and have made it twice since. i think this was my first time making pizza with no sauce and it was still so good. I have recently learned a few tricks with pizza dough:. 1 keep bubbles in the crust by just pulling it out under the dough w/your fingers and not pinching. 2 put your pizza stone in the oven while pre-heating and then slide your pizza on top on parchment. Plain pizza dough (i used trader joe's).

Sunday, February 5, 2012. Goodbye for 18 months :). September 2011, opening my mission call with Elise, Kaitlin and Ariel (filming) and also my family on speaker-phone :). I was 13 at the time, and had just received a special priesthood blessing. As I received the blessing, I felt strong impressions about spreading the good news- the gospel of Christ! Felt so strongly about this mission. It's amazing to me that the time is already here! Thank you to those who have taught me so much about this- you contin...

The Larsons: 07/14/14
http://scottandlesley.blogspot.com/2014_07_14_archive.html
Monday, July 14, 2014. I've decided to make it tradition to take a photo of the kids every Father's Day, so Scott has something current on his desk at the office. We had beautiful weather and the most lush grass for our backyard photo shoot! Cal was not thrilled about posing in the grass. On Father's Day we prepared cinnamon rolls, orange juice, fruit and a meat of some kind. But Scott is very hard to catch still in bed! Weekly Top 10 - Sunday, April 27, 2014. 4 During the first week of the break we made...

TheLongNap: March 2010
http://thelongnap.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 29, 2010. A Week of Food. I was so pleased with last weeks food menu that I thought I would post it here for inspiration. I ended up not wasting a drop of food (therefore money) and all the ingredients worked out, measured up, and lasted till Sunday. We got leftovers from most and were able to reinvent ingredients for breakfast and lunch. Corn Chowder Soup served with a Jicama slaw. I did this. Without bacon or crab and it was delicious. You can choose your own adventure. Whole wheat pizza ...

TheLongNap: August 2010
http://thelongnap.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 23, 2010. As promised, here is the recipe for the tomato relish I made 2 weeks ago. I've been craving it since, so as I write this I am making another batch. Nico loves it on a crusty baguette with goat cheese, or in a burger. I'm going to try it on a toasted bagel and cream cheese. Sunday, August 8, 2010. Back to the Menus. An outdoor market in Monaco. If we had more markets like these here at home,. Getting groceries wouldn't be such a chore. Wednesday: Garden Burgers with Oven Veggies.
