Paper Cowgurl: November 2008
http://papercowgurl.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 27, 2008. So here we are again. We chilled our cookie dough for an hour (and had some lunch) and now we are ready to make cookies. As you can see, all the helpers are here. Lauren is excited to use cookie cutters. Cookie cutting is very serious as you can see. First batch in the oven. Uh oh, we have a loose monster trying to help. Mama better hold him before he pulls everything off the table. He just wants to help. He gets to be a taste tester.he likes them. Wednesday, November 26, 2008.

Paper Cowgurl: Beyond the chickens...show world
http://papercowgurl.blogspot.com/2014/09/beyond-chickensshow-world.html
Thursday, September 25, 2014. Beyond the chickens.show world. So I mentioned in my last post we were starting a new adventure with a show cow. An adventure it most definitely is. We put the calves in the shoot so the girls could get close and start brushing. Wild animals aren't to fond of being brushed at first.they begin to realize it's kind of nice:). Brushing and making friends. The first attempt at walking her.she did not want to move. Scarlet set up like she would be for a show. Next was the roof...

http://papercowgurl.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 26, 2009. To add to the backyard fun, Emily brought her baby Rocky and Steph and BJ brought their baby Leo. Austin has been around both dogs for a very small amount of time and he was not real sure about them.he didn't really have a choice on Sunday if he wanted to play but to get used to them. After a little bit of time he made new friends. Here he is petting Rocky.just his size. Although he made friends he would make this face whenever they ran by or came towards him. He was having such...

Paper Cowgurl: February 2009
http://papercowgurl.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 26, 2009. Today was such a beautiful Day! He played in his barn. He thinks it's funny to look out the window and see me. But then he had to figure out how to get out without Lauren. It took him a little time but. HHMMMhow do I get down? Maybe I can ride the door. Hey, that worked pretty well. On to the swing set, Can climb the slide like I see Lauren do? He would pick up a piece of dirt and give it to me and say Thank You. Then he wanted to swing. On to the next adventure. Oh, more dirt.

debianne's journey: December 2008
http://debiannesjourney.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 24, 2008. This picture was taken Christmas, 1955. I don’t remember many Christmas’ growing up. It was not always a happy time, but Christmas, 1955.that was a special Christmas. It was the Christmas Santa came. It was also the year Grema. And Granddaddy Charlie “rescued’ us and we spent the next several months living with them. (I don’t know where my mother was.). I remember arriving at my grandparent’s house after dark on Christmas Eve. Grema. Said it was well after 10:00 pm when she ...

debianne's journey: Loss
http://debiannesjourney.blogspot.com/2010/04/loss.html
Thursday, April 1, 2010. I wanted to say, "I'm sorry," but the words sounded so hollow. What to say? Is there any comfort to be found? I could only hug her and tell her I loved her. I knew her heart had been pierced and she would hurt for a long time. She feels that she and her body have failed. Why don't we know this? Then why does it feel like a punishment.not a blessing? Children are not supposed to die.not our children.not my grandchildren. The pain and grief I see her suffering is real, just as real...

Hammered Out: March 2009
http://hammer55.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thoughts on life, family and places I've been. Sunday, March 22, 2009. The tool fanatic that I am leads me to "tool up" those around me. This week I bought Lauren a tool kit. Last week she obvserved that everyone else in her family had a tool kit! So I found a kit for her and gave it to her Friday. To my surprise it was the same one her mom has and Lauren was thrilled. It all started when I showed her the tool kit I was collecting for her brother, Austin. I found this incredible wooden kids tool set.
